Top Esports defeat ThunderTalk in two games

Top Esports defeated ThunderTalk 2-0 in the third LPL split. The series lasted fifty-eight minutes across two games on patch 26.15.

Tian completed the match with fourteen eliminations and only two deaths. ThunderTalk could not slow Top Esports after the side lanes opened.

ThunderTalk kept the kill total close in the first game

The opening game lasted thirty-two minutes. ThunderTalk found seven champion eliminations and destroyed three towers during its strongest periods. Top Esports answered with nineteen eliminations and nine towers. The larger structure total created safe routes into the opposing jungle. ThunderTalk defended several early pushes and delayed the final advance. The team still lost too much vision after its outer towers disappeared. Top Esports used that space to approach Baron and dragon areas from several directions. ThunderTalk often arrived after the river entrances were already controlled.

Zhuo received the first-game most valuable player award. His support play connected Tian’s jungle pressure with the two damage dealers. Tian selected Jarvan IV and finished with six eliminations, no deaths and thirteen assists. His engages gave Top Esports clear targets during crowded fights. Creme played Syndra and added six eliminations. Long-range control stopped ThunderTalk from entering the fight through one narrow route. The combination allowed Top Esports to start fights without exposing every carry. Zhuo and Tian created the opening before Syndra delivered the follow-up damage.

The second game moved at a faster pace

Top Esports increased the pressure after the break. The team reached twenty-three eliminations while allowing ThunderTalk seven again. Nine towers fell for Top Esports, compared with one for the opponent. The map therefore opened much earlier than it had in game one. ThunderTalk lost early turrets and could no longer protect both side lanes. Its players had to group defensively and surrendered space elsewhere. The second nexus fell after twenty-six minutes. Top Esports removed six minutes from the opening game while creating a larger final margin.

ZUIAN earned the second most valuable player award with Jayce. He recorded six eliminations, no deaths and six assists. Jayce used ranged attacks to reduce ThunderTalk’s health before major fights. That pressure made every later entrance toward the river more dangerous. Tian switched from Jarvan IV to Pantheon and remained aggressive. He finished with eight eliminations, two deaths and seven assists. The two champions attacked from different distances. ZUIAN created damage before the fight, while Tian found direct access to the back line.

Top Esports changed its jungle champion without losing control

Jarvan IV offered a reliable engage and a way to hold opponents in one area. Pantheon provided faster movement toward side-lane fights. Tian adapted to both roles and participated in twenty-six eliminations across the match. His low death total kept him available for Baron, dragon and turret attacks.

ThunderTalk could not punish the change in game two. The faster jungle movements reached lanes before defenders could establish safe positions. Top Esports also kept strong vision behind Tian. His forward moves were supported by teammates rather than becoming isolated attacks.

Top Esports destroyed more turrets in game two

Top Esports destroyed nine turrets in each game. ThunderTalk collected three in the opener and only one after the break. The second game ended six minutes faster. Earlier turret losses left ThunderTalk with fewer protected routes through its own jungle.

Tian finished the series with fourteen kills, two deaths and twenty assists. He changed from Jarvan IV to Pantheon between games. ZUIAN’s Jayce added ranged pressure during the second victory. Top Esports then closed the series after twenty-six minutes.

Jayce and Pantheon attacked from different ranges

Jayce reduced ThunderTalk’s health before the main fights began. Pantheon threatened a direct arrival behind the nearest frontline. Those two threats forced ThunderTalk to protect several angles. The defence could not hold every control ability for one target. Top Esports used the hesitation to approach turrets from wider positions. Its second-game lead grew before the final base attack.

ZUIAN ended the game without a death. Tian supplied eight kills and seven assists from the jungle. ThunderTalk finished game two with seven kills and one turret. The wider structure gap allowed Top Esports to reach the nexus after twenty-six minutes.
