Top Esports beat Bilibili Gaming 2-0 in LPL Group Ascend

Top Esports defeated Bilibili Gaming 2-0 in Group Ascend of the LPL third split. The first game lasted 41 minutes, while the second lasted 25 minutes.
The result moved Top Esports above BLG in the table. Each team now has six series wins and one loss, but Top Esports have the better game difference.
Top Esports won the first game 34-31 in kills
The first game lasted 41 minutes and produced frequent team fights. Top Esports finished with 34 kills, while BLG collected 31. The gold totals remained close for most of the game. Top Esports ended with 85,700 gold, compared with 81,200 for BLG. BLG secured the first dragon, but Top Esports answered during the later fights. The winners also destroyed nine towers, while BLG took six.
ZUIAN played Rumble and produced 14 kills for Top Esports. He also added 15 assists during the longest game of the series. JackeyLove added 13 kills with Jhin and died only three times. Zhuo supported his teammates with 29 assists on Alistar. Viper led BLG with 14 kills on Corki. His team remained competitive until Top Esports completed the final attack.
The second game ended after 25 minutes
Top Esports gained an early lead in the second game and never lost control. They reached 26 kills before destroying the final structure. BLG recorded five kills and did not destroy a tower. Their gold total stopped at 42,100, while Top Esports reached 56,400. Tian used Lee Sin and finished with nine kills and nine assists. His early involvement helped Top Esports attack several lanes.
JackeyLove changed from Jhin to Ashe for the second game. He recorded eight kills, one death and 14 assists. Zhuo completed the game without dying on Seraphine. His 21 assists connected him with most of the team’s kills. BLG selected Renekton, Poppy, Syndra, Varus and Bard. Those champions did not provide enough damage during the important fights.
Top Esports selected five new champions for game two
The Fearless format prevented both teams from repeating champions from game one. Top Esports still found another effective combination. ZUIAN moved from Rumble to Olaf and remained active in team fights. Tian changed from Vi to Lee Sin and improved his personal score. Creme played Ahri in the opener and Akali in game two. He supported his teammates without taking many of the final kills.
JackeyLove provided damage with two different marksmen. Zhuo followed with Alistar and Seraphine, giving the team two different support options. BLG also selected five different champions for game two. The new selection did not stop Top Esports from building a large early advantage. A third game was not required. Top Esports completed the series after 66 minutes of recorded game time.
ZUIAN and JackeyLove recorded 41 kills together
ZUIAN recorded 21 kills across the two games. JackeyLove recorded 20 kills and 21 assists. Tian recorded 2-10-12 with Vi in game one. He then recorded 9-2-9 with Lee Sin in game two. Zhuo recorded 50 assists across the series. His participation connected the support role with almost every major attack.
BLG relied heavily on Viper during the first game. No BLG player reached more than two kills in the second game. The first game showed that BLG could match the winners in long fights. The second game created a much wider difference between the teams. Top Esports therefore won through two different game patterns. They survived the close opener and then controlled the faster second game.
Top Esports moved ahead in the table
Top Esports and BLG both ended the series with a 6-1 record. The game totals separated them at the top of Group Ascend. Top Esports had won 12 games and lost four after this result. BLG also had 12 wins, but their six losses placed them behind. The 2-0 score also reversed the result of the previous split final. BLG had won that earlier best-of-five meeting in three games.

This meeting used the shorter best-of-three format. Top Esports needed one long game and one short game to complete their answer. Both teams remained inside the leading group after the match. Their remaining series will decide the final order before the next stage.
The first game lasted 41 minutes and the second lasted 25
The opening game contained 65 kills and remained competitive for 41 minutes. Top Esports ended with a narrow gold advantage and three more towers. The second game lasted 25 minutes and contained a much wider score. Top Esports collected 26 kills while BLG managed five.
Those results explain why the final 2-0 score covered two different contests. Top Esports first won under pressure and then protected an early advantage. The sweep improved their game difference in Group Ascend. It also ended BLG’s six-series winning start to the third split.
