Natus Vincere beat Shifters 2-0 in LEC Summer

Natus Vincere beat Shifters 2-0 during the second week of LEC Summer. The first game lasted thirty-nine minutes, while the second ended after thirty-four.
Shifters remained competitive through much of the opener. NAVI then controlled the second game with stronger lanes and a larger advantage around the base.
The opening game stayed close for a long time
NAVI drafted Jax, Zaahen, Syndra, Corki and Leona. Shifters answered with Olaf, Nocturne, Viktor, Ziggs and Shen. The teams traded kills during the early stages. Shifters used Nocturne to create pressure away from the main group. NAVI responded through Rhilech’s Zaahen and Poby’s Syndra. Their control effects gave SamD enough space to deal damage from Corki.
Shifters collected several early neutral monsters. NAVI stayed close by taking towers and avoiding a large gold deficit. The match remained open after thirty minutes. Both teams had enough damage to punish one failed position. NAVI handled the later team fights with greater patience. Parus found important Leona engages, while SamD finished the game with six kills.
NAVI closed the first game through the base
The first game ended with twenty kills for NAVI and sixteen for Shifters. The difference was smaller than the final map control suggested. NAVI destroyed eight towers, while Shifters took six. That advantage gave NAVI safer routes into the opposing side of the map. Shifters still threatened through nuc’s Viktor and Sheo’s Nocturne. Both players produced useful kills during the longest fights. Poby recorded fourteen assists and died only twice. His Syndra protected the back line and stopped several direct approaches. Parus joined sixteen of NAVI’s twenty kills. His play helped NAVI turn a won team fight into the final attack. NAVI ended the game after securing enough control near Shifters’ base. The victory came at thirty-nine minutes.
NAVI changed every champion for the second game. The lineup used Rumble, Vi, Annie, Varus and Camille. Shifters selected K’Sante, Naafiri, Anivia, Ezreal and Rell. The lineup could start fights, while Anivia needed time to gain levels and items. Maynter’s Rumble gained early control of the top lane. Rhilech then used Vi to attack lanes and begin fights around neutral monsters. SamD’s Varus became the main source of steady damage. He finished with eight kills, one death and ten assists. NAVI built a larger tower advantage than in the opener. Ten towers fell on the Shifters side, while NAVI lost only three. The stronger map position reduced the number of safe farming areas for Shifters. Shifters never reached the same late-game balance.
Five players shared the second win
Rhilech led the early attacks and ended with seven kills. Poby remained unbeaten on Annie and added ten assists. Maynter also finished without a death. His Rumble controlled narrow spaces during the larger fights. Shifters found ten kills but could not build a long sequence. NAVI answered each successful move with pressure elsewhere. NAVI finished game two twelve minutes faster. Its tower advantage prevented Shifters from recovering. Across both games, SamD produced fourteen kills and only five deaths. His steady damage connected NAVI’s front line with the final result. The 2-0 score came through two different games. NAVI survived a close opener and then controlled the complete second map.
Shifters kept the opener close through pressure around Baron and the dragons. NAVI needed a reliable way to begin the later fights. Parus supplied that first control with Leona. His engages gave SamD and Poby time to damage the same target. Sheo and nuc continued finding replies for Shifters. NAVI stayed organised after those losses and kept enough players for the next objective. The teams traded objectives before NAVI secured the later Baron. That advantage opened the lanes needed for the final attack. Shifters had chances to extend the game. NAVI used one complete late fight to end before another reset.

The second game gave SamD more room
NAVI built a clearer lane advantage in game two. Rhilech’s Vi reached the side lanes before Shifters could form a defensive group. SamD’s Varus attacked from behind Rumble and Vi. He finished with eight kills and rarely had to move into close range. Maynter and Poby completed the map without a death. Their positioning allowed NAVI to keep pressure after each won fight.
Shifters could not rebuild the same late balance seen in the opener. NAVI controlled more structures and reduced the available farming space. The sweep therefore contained two different wins. NAVI survived a close first game and controlled the second much earlier.
