Kiwoom DRX defeated HANJIN BRION 2-1 in the LCK Rise Group. BRION won the first game before Kiwoom DRX changed the match. Ucal received the player of the match award.

Teddy finished the opener without a death while playing Corki. Kiwoom DRX answered through Ucal’s Annie and Aiming’s Ezreal. The deciding game then belonged to Ucal’s Ryze.

The match lasted three games and used patch 26.14. BRION produced its strongest attack during the forty-minute opener. Kiwoom DRX responded with two shorter and more controlled wins.

Teddy leads BRION through the opening game

HANJIN BRION started the match with its strongest attacking performance. The team collected twenty-four kills during the forty-minute game. Kiwoom DRX answered with ten kills before the final push.

Teddy’s Corki became the central damage source for BRION. He finished with twelve kills, eight assists and no deaths. That clean record reflected BRION’s protection during later fights.

GIDEON also influenced the opener through Jarvan IV. His engages created space for Teddy and the other damage dealers. Casting’s Rumble added control during fights around narrow areas.

Ucal recorded six kills on Cassiopeia for Kiwoom DRX. However, his team lost too many players during the decisive exchanges. BRION converted those advantages into towers and a secure finish.

Kiwoom DRX rebuild the match around Annie

Kiwoom DRX changed its approach during the second champion selection. Ucal moved to Annie and gained a simple source of crowd control. Aiming selected Ezreal for safer damage from longer range.

The second game remained closer than BRION’s opening victory. Kiwoom DRX finished with twelve kills against seven. The winner also built a lead of about six thousand gold.

Ucal recorded four kills without a death in the second game. His stuns helped Kiwoom DRX begin several successful fights. He also added five assists during the thirty-six-minute game.

AD carry Aiming recorded five kills while playing Ezreal. Andil’s Karma supported him with shields and movement speed. Their combined work kept BRION away from the final defence.

Ucal controls the deciding game with Ryze

The third game gave both teams one final chance to decide the match. Kiwoom DRX established an early lead and protected it carefully. BRION found only four kills during the full game.

Ucal selected Ryze and finished with six kills without dying. He also assisted six more eliminations across the map. His movement helped Kiwoom DRX reach fights before BRION.

Rich produced another clean performance while playing Gnar. The top laner recorded three kills, six assists and no deaths. His pressure supported Ucal during the most important fights.

Aiming’s Sivir added steady damage during the closing stages. He ended with three kills and eight assists without dying. Kiwoom DRX closed the game after thirty-two minutes.

Two clean mid-lane games change the result

The two winning games also reduced BRION’s total attacking output. BRION collected seven kills in game two and four later. That decline followed Kiwoom DRX’s stronger positioning before fights.

Willer supported the recovery with Pantheon and Nocturne selections. Those champions gave Kiwoom DRX direct access to distant targets. His eight assists in the decider supported the team’s map control.

Andil also changed champions in every game of the match. He moved from Nautilus to Karma and then Shen. The final selection added protection during Kiwoom DRX’s strongest game.

The match turns after BRION’s dominant start

BRION’s opener showed the danger created by Teddy’s protected Corki. The team produced a large kill lead and controlled the finish. That level did not continue after the champion selections changed.

Teddy moved from Corki to Lucian and then Viktor. His first selection produced the strongest performance of the match. Kiwoom DRX limited his influence during both later games.

Rich also used three different champions across the match. His Ambessa struggled early before Yorick helped the recovery. Gnar then completed his clean performance in the decider.

Kiwoom DRX responded through a more stable mid lane and bot lane. Ucal and Aiming combined for eighteen kills across the two wins. Neither player died during the deciding game.

Kiwoom DRX recovered from the opening defeat and won the match. Kiwoom DRX lost the longest game before taking the next two. The last game ended eight minutes faster than the opener.

Ucal’s two clean performances earned the individual match award. Rich and Aiming also finished the decider without a death. Their combined control completed Kiwoom DRX’s 2-1 win.
