Kiwoom DRX beat DN SOOPers 2-0 in LCK Rise Group

Kiwoom DRX beat DN SOOPers 2-0 in the LCK Rise Group. Kiwoom controlled the opening game and carried that advantage through the second.

The teams had split their two earlier meetings in 2026. Each roster had already won one series by a 2-0 score.

Kiwoom won both games

Kiwoom won the opening game and immediately placed DN under pressure. The second victory completed a consistent afternoon for the roster. DN could not turn its experienced lineup into a game victory. Kiwoom selected the stronger group of champions in both games. The two results improved Kiwoom’s game difference inside the Rise Group. DN lost ground against a direct opponent in the same table.

Rich, Willer, Ucal, LazyFeel and Andil form the listed Kiwoom group. The roster combines experienced solo laners with a younger bottom-side option. DN entered with DuDu, Pyosik, Clozer, deokdam and Peter among its established players. That full lineup also contains extensive competitive LCK experience.

Both teams had won an earlier meeting

DN SOOPers won the first league meeting between these teams in April. That opening match also ended after only two completed games. Kiwoom won the second meeting between the teams in May. That series ended 2-0 in Kiwoom’s favour. Kiwoom have now won two of the three meetings in 2026. All three series ended after two games.

Both teams had changed form across the season before meeting again. The group phase gives their current results more weight than old reputation. A familiar opponent can study previous games, but it still faces new champion selections. Fearless rules require different champions as a series continues.

Kiwoom gained another Rise Group series win

Kiwoom and DN entered the Rise Group after the first part of the LCK season. The format places direct rivals inside a separate competitive race. Every series now affects that smaller group rather than the full opening table. A 2-0 win also improves the difference between games won and lost. Kiwoom collected both available game victories from this meeting. DN left without the single game that would have narrowed the margin.

The victory gave Kiwoom a strong result against one of its direct group opponents. Both game wins also improved the team’s current margin. DN left the meeting without adding a game victory. Its earlier group results now carry less protection in the standings.

Experienced players featured in both lineups

Rich and Ucal have played through several major Korean seasons. Willer also brings a long record from the jungle position. Kiwoom connect those players with LazyFeel and Andil on the bottom side. The five roles give the team a settled structure for league matches. DN can answer with Pyosik’s international experience and DuDu’s long top-lane career. Clozer and deokdam provide much of the team’s damage.

Peter completes the listed five from the support position. The names show why a 2-0 result still required Kiwoom to defeat an experienced opponent. Those experienced players made the result more significant for Kiwoom. DN SOOPers had several proven options across the five roles.

Kiwoom finished the series with two game wins

Winning two games matters beyond the match column. It gives Kiwoom a positive game margin from this direct meeting. Kiwoom ended the series with two game wins and no game loss. DN’s two losses weakened its game difference inside the group. Kiwoom gained the same margin through a single direct meeting. The result also confirms that Kiwoom handled the full match. Two completed games required separate champion combinations and new answers. DN had opportunities to adjust between those games. Kiwoom still reached the second victory and closed the series on schedule. The Korean calendar continues quickly after this meeting. Kiwoom leave with a complete win, while DN need a response in their next appearance.

Kiwoom entered the separated group after five wins during the opening league phase. DN had collected one victory before the competition divided its teams. Those earlier records explain the pressure without deciding this match. Kiwoom still needed to confirm the difference through two new games. Both organisations also entered 2026 under updated public names. DRX added Kiwoom to its identity, while DN adopted the SOOPers name for the season. Kiwoom completed the new Rise Group meeting with another 2-0 win. It was their second victory over DN SOOPers this season. Across the three meetings in 2026, Kiwoom have won four games and DN have won two. Every meeting ended 2-0, so none of the series required a deciding game.
