GIANTX defeat Movistar KOI 2-0 in LEC Summer

GIANTX defeated Movistar KOI 2-0 during the third week of LEC Summer. The first game lasted almost 31 minutes, while the second passed 33 minutes.

Jackies led the match with 15 kills. Isma recorded 24 assists and died only twice across the two games.

GIANTX built a large lead in the first game

The opening game ended after 30 minutes and 51 seconds. GIANTX held a gold advantage of about eleven thousand. The team removed towers quickly after winning fights. Movistar KOI had fewer safe routes toward the dragon and Baron pits.

Jackies and Flakked provided most of the finishing damage. Isma supported the lanes and arrived early around the next dragon. The victory gave GIANTX control of the best-of-three. Movistar KOI needed the second game to extend the match.

Movistar KOI reduced the difference in game two

The second game lasted 33 minutes and 42 seconds. Movistar KOI remained closer than during the opener. GIANTX still finished with a gold lead of roughly seven and a half thousand. The team preserved enough control to complete the final advance.

The smaller margin reflected a better response from Movistar KOI. It did not change the result of the game or the series. GIANTX destroyed the second nexus and completed a 2-0 victory. A third draft was no longer required.

Jackies recorded fifteen kills

Jackies finished the series with 15 kills, five deaths and 14 assists. He led all players in total kills. Flakked added twelve kills and only two deaths. His 14.0 KDA matched Jun’s figure from the support role.

Oscarinin recorded five kills and 13 assists. Isma contributed six kills and a team-high 24 assists. Every GIANTX player ended with a positive KDA. The lineup therefore carried stable numbers across all five roles.

Movistar KOI struggled to finish kills

Movistar KOI recorded 15 kills across the two games. GIANTX finished with 39. Myrwn and Supa led their team with four kills each. Elyoya added five kills and eight assists from the jungle.

Jojopyun collected eleven assists but died eight times. Alvaro supplied thirteen assists and ended without a kill. The lower kill total made every structure harder to contest. GIANTX frequently reached dragons with more surviving players.

GIANTX controlled the towers

GIANTX destroyed 17 towers during the match. Movistar KOI took five across the same two games. The dragon totals were closer at five to four. GIANTX also secured two Barons, while its opponent took none.

Towers and Barons created the larger difference visible in the final gold leads. They opened direct routes toward the two nexuses. Movistar KOI remained active around dragons. GIANTX gained more value from towers and Baron control.

The two wins followed a consistent pattern

GIANTX completed both games between thirty and thirty-four minutes. The team never required an unusually long late-game finish. Its first advantage was larger, but the second remained comfortable. Movistar KOI improved without forcing a third game.

The 2-0 score adds two game wins to GIANTX’s summer record. It also removes the risk of a negative game difference from this match. Jackies supplied the leading kill total, while Isma and Jun combined for 51 assists. Their work supported a complete team result.

Fearless Draft changed the second selection

The LEC series used Fearless Draft. Champions selected in the first game were unavailable to the same team during the second. GIANTX therefore needed a different group of picks after taking the opener. The team rebuilt its winning plan without repeating the first draft.

Movistar KOI also received a new set of options. Its improved second game reduced the gold difference but did not change the winner. The format rewards depth across several champions. GIANTX completed both drafts without allowing a deciding game.

Isma and Jun supported the leading damage

Isma and Jun combined for fifty-one assists. Jackies and Flakked converted that support into twenty-seven kills. Flakked and Jun each died only twice across the two games. Those low totals kept the main damage and protection available.

Movistar KOI’s five players combined for fifteen kills. That was equal to the individual total recorded by Jackies. The contrast extended into structures and Barons. GIANTX converted its stronger team fights into two complete game wins.

GIANTX kept control through two different drafts

Fearless Draft removed earlier champion choices before the second game. GIANTX changed its lineup of champions without losing control of the match.

Movistar KOI reduced the later gold gap but never reached a winning position. Jackies led the kills while Isma and Jun supplied regular support.
