Gen.G defeat Hanwha Life in two LCK games

Gen.G defeated Hanwha Life Esports 2-0 in the LCK Legend Group. Both games included long periods when the teams remained close. Gen.G controlled the later neutral-monster fights and ended the series without losing a game.

Chovy received the player of the match award after two influential performances. His Cassiopeia produced ten kills during the opener. Gen.G also protected Ruler well enough for him to remain active through repeated team fights.

The opening game lasted thirty-eight minutes

Hanwha Life created several chances during an active first game. Zeka and Gumayusi supplied damage while Kanavi looked for direct engagements. Gen.G remained close because its lanes kept collecting resources and its players traded kills quickly.

Chovy became the central threat as the game moved beyond the early phase. His Cassiopeia finished with ten kills, four deaths and seven assists. Those numbers came from sustained damage rather than one isolated fight.

Ruler and Duro helped Chovy control team fights

Ruler played Seraphine during the first game and finished with thirteen assists. Duro added seventeen assists on Shen despite dying four times. Their control and protection allowed Chovy to stay close enough to attack.

Gen.G did not depend on a single champion reaching the opposing back line. The team used shields, control effects and careful spacing. Hanwha Life still found kills, but it rarely removed every important target together.

Hanwha Life briefly slowed Gen.G

The first game remained competitive because Hanwha Life continued contesting neutral objectives. Its players found several useful engagements and briefly slowed Gen.G‘s progress.

The lead never became completely secure until the final sequence.

Gen.G answered pressure by keeping its damage dealers in separate safe positions. One engagement could not reach Chovy and Ruler at the same time. That spacing made each attempted comeback more difficult to complete.

The second draft produced another Gen.G win

Hanwha Life changed parts of its draft after losing the opener. Gen.G still found a stable balance between front-line control and damage. The second game followed a different pattern but produced the same winner.

Gen.G entered important areas before committing to a fight. Players cleared vision and waited for teammates to arrive. Hanwha Life received fewer isolated targets than it had found during the first game.

Chovy received the match award

Chovy‘s award covered his contribution across the complete series. He dealt heavy damage in the opener and remained reliable during the second game. His positioning forced Hanwha Life to spend several abilities before reaching him. A mid laner’s influence also appears before a team fight begins. Chovy kept his lane stable and reached contested areas on time. Gen.G therefore entered those moments with every major source of damage available. Gen.G improved on their recent results.

These teams had already faced each other several times during the season. Their previous matches included different winners and closer score lines. The latest meeting gave Gen.G a 2-0 victory in the regular LCK stage. Gen.G closed both games by destroying Hanwha Life’s Nexus. The two victories produced a clean 2-0 series score in the LCK standings.

Gen.G protected both late-game leads

Gen.G‘s strongest quality was its control after gaining an advantage. The team did not rush every available attack. Players collected resources, established vision and chose fights with several teammates already nearby.

Hanwha Life created resistance during both games and never received a free route back. Gen.G answered each threat with organised protection around its carries. Chovy‘s match award completed a measured 2-0 series victory.

Several players shaped the opening win

Chovy‘s ten kills gave Gen.G its largest visible damage contribution in the first game. Ruler and Duro combined for thirty assists through Seraphine and Shen. Their figures show how protection and control supported the main attacker. Hanwha Life still collected enough kills to keep the game active for thirty-eight minutes. The second victory completed the match after two drafts. Chovy‘s award covered both games rather than only his Cassiopeia performance. Gen.G received one series win, while Hanwha Life received one defeat. Patch 26.15 applied to both drafts. Both games used patch 26.15. The teams changed several champion selections after the opener. Gen.G protected its main damage dealers and won both games. Hanwha Life altered its composition but could not extend the series.

The 2-0 result gives Gen.G another match victory in the Legend Group schedule. Gen.G ended the series after two games. Hanwha Life contested neutral monsters but could not win either game. Both games ended with Gen.G destroying the opposing Nexus. Hanwha Life remained competitive early but could not extend the match.
