The Story of Zeri
Zeri grew up among the workers of Zaun, the chem-soaked undercity below Piltover often described as inventive, dangerous, and alive with toxic ambition, and that setting still shapes how she fights. She plays as a marksman in the ADC role, and despite her power running on raw electricity, her resource bar is measured in mana rather than any exotic energy system of her own invention. Her passive, Living Battery, turns her basic attacks into ability-like bursts of magic damage, and simply moving or firing charges up a Sparkpack that unloads a heavier hit once it fills.
Her kit reads like an extension of her temperament: quick, reactive, occasionally reckless. Burst Fire sprays seven rounds counted as a single attack, good for chipping down a target from range. Ultrashock Laser fires a slowing pulse that stretches into a long beam if it clips a wall, rewarding players who read the terrain around them. Spark Surge lets her dash and vault over obstacles while an energized shot pierces through anyone in her path, and her ultimate, Lightning Crash, floods the area with electricity while overcharging her own speed, growing stronger with every champion she strikes.
What stands out about Zeri is less raw firepower than temperament: her magic surges and stutters the way her moods do, and her eagerness to help allies can occasionally backfire on her. She is described as carrying real affection for her family and her neighborhood, guided by a simple conviction that standing up for your community means it will stand up for you in turn. That instinct puts her in the same orbit as other champions tied to the undercity, including Jinx and Ekko, whose own stories likewise run through Zaun’s tangled, half-lit streets — and it is that same faith in mutual defense that keeps her fighting even when the odds favor caution over charging in.
