The Story of Sivir
Not every legend in Shurima‘s deserts was written by kings or gods — some were built one contract at a time. Sivir is a mercenary captain and fortune hunter who charges a steep price for her services, and pays it back with results: a long record of battles won and tombs cracked open for whichever buyer could afford her.
Her signature weapon, a jeweled crossblade, is as much a business tool as it is a weapon; the treasures she pulls from Shurima’s buried ruins are recovered for a bounty, not out of curiosity or reverence for the empire’s past. That mercenary distance is getting harder to maintain, though. With ancient forces beginning to stir beneath the sand — the same forces tied to Shurima’s ascended god-warriors — Sivir finds her usual detachment tested by destinies that seem to want more from her than a paycheck.
Her kit reflects a fighter built for sustained, ranged pressure rather than a single decisive strike. Boomerang Blade deals damage on the way out and again on the way back, Ricochet speeds up and bounces her following attacks between targets, and Spell Shield blocks a single incoming spell outright, rewarding her for reading an enemy’s cooldowns. On the Hunt, her ultimate, extends that same practicality to allies, granting the whole team a burst of movement speed while cutting down her own cooldowns with every attack that follows. Fittingly for a mercenary, even her ultimate reads as a group contract rather than a personal flourish — everyone benefits, as long as they’re fighting under her banner. As Shurima’s premier Marksman, she’s built to carry the ADC role from range, and every one of those tricks draws on a straightforward pool of Mana rather than any resource more exotic — a mercenary’s tools, kept as uncomplicated as her price is steep.
