Poppy

Few weapons look as absurd on their wielder as Orlon’s hammer does on Poppy. Twice her size and unmistakably legendary, it would dwarf most yordles entirely — yet she has carried it through untold years of searching, certain that Runeterra’s true “Hero of Demacia” is still out there somewhere, waiting to claim it rightfully.

Until that hero appears, Poppy refuses to let the hammer sit idle. She charges into every fight Demacia faces — a proud kingdom governed by law and duty, wary enough of magic to hunt it down — whirling strikes clearing space around her long before anyone can question whether a yordle with a giant hammer belongs on the front line. Doubt has never slowed her down; if anything, being underestimated works in her favor.

Built as a tank and fighter hybrid who mostly holds the top lane, and running on mana like the rest of Demacia’s knights, her fighting style backs up that confidence directly. Iron Ambassador has her throw a buckler that bounces off its target, and picking it back up grants her a temporary shield. Hammer Shock swings her hammer to damage enemies and leave behind a slowing zone that explodes after a delay. Steadfast Presence passively strengthens her Armor and Magic Resist, more so the lower her health drops, and can be activated to grant Move Speed while disrupting nearby enemy dashes. Heroic Charge dashes her into a target and shoves it backward, stunning it outright if it collides with a wall. Keeper’s Verdict, her ultimate, channels a hammer strike that sends enemies flying a tremendous distance. It is a kit built almost entirely around denying escape — fitting, for someone who has spent her whole life proving size was never the point. She stands alongside other Demacian stalwarts like Garen and Jarvan IV, none of whom carry a hammer half as storied as hers.
