The Story of Alistar
Alistar carries the build and reputation of a warrior everyone already fears before he throws a single punch.
A clan destroyed, a life spent in chains
That reputation formed the hard way. The Noxian empire killed his clan, and rather than dying with them he was enslaved and pushed into the gladiator ring, forced to perform violence for other people’s entertainment. What kept him from turning into the beast his captors wanted was simple stubbornness, an unwillingness to let the chains decide who he was.
What he does with freedom
Free of Noxus now, he has redirected that history rather than let it go. He fights on behalf of people without power or standing, using rage as a weapon in the same way he uses his horns, hooves, and fists. Pulverize and Headbutt work as a pair, tossing an enemy up before ramming them somewhere his allies can finish the job, and Trample lets him wade through a crowd of lesser units without breaking stride while building toward a stronger attack against whichever champion he is facing. Unbreakable Will strips away crowd control at the exact moment he needs to keep standing, and Triumphant Roar charges up off every stun he lands, turning disruption itself into fuel for a full heal.
Where the anger still points
His origin sits inside Noxus, the same empire built on the idea that strength earns status, which makes his path a direct rebuke of the system that made him a slave in the first place. Other champions native to that empire, among them Darius, come from the very institution Alistar has spent his freedom fighting against, which makes the two of them a study in what the same brutal system produces depending on which side of the chains a person ends up standing on.
