Akali

Akali used to answer to an order. She carried the title Fist of Shadow inside the Kinkou, trained alongside Shen and Kennen, and operated under rules that were never entirely her own to set. None of that arrangement survived intact.

Working alone changes how she fights more than it changes what she believes in. Five Point Strike and Shuriken Flip are built around distance and precision rather than a team’s coordination, throwing damage out before closing in on a marked target, and Twilight Shroud gives her the kind of cover an order once provided through numbers: step inside the smoke and she cannot be targeted at all, though anyone still watching for the telltale shroud can strike blind and force her to reveal herself. Assassin’s Mark rewards patience, arming a stronger basic attack the moment she steps back out of the ring left by her own spell damage. Perfect Execution closes the gap for a single decisive strike and can be recast to dash straight through a line of low-health targets, fitting an assassin who no longer waits for permission before acting, striking alone in a way the Kinkou never would have sanctioned. She still calls Ionia home, just no longer as part of the structure that used to define her there, and the record is clear that she intends to be heard on her own terms from here on: not as a title handed down by an order, but as a threat she has chosen for herself, quietly and without asking anyone’s permission first.
