Ambessa’s kit runs on chained movement. Drakehound’s Step dashes her a short distance after an ability whenever a move or attack command is entered during the cast, Lacerate whips damage and a slow around her, and Public Execution blinks to the farthest enemy champion in a chosen line and suppresses them on arrival. That last ability is the real threat to a 643-health assassin sitting on 32 armor, and Ambessa’s 630 health, 35 armor and 2,500 at level 18 mean she survives a failed engage more comfortably than Kha’Zix does at 2,326 and 103.4. Speed favours the assassin at 345 against 335, and Leap gains 200 units of range once Wings is evolved through Void Assault, with the cooldown resetting on a takedown. Her defensive option is Repudiation, a shield held while bracing that slams the ground afterwards, and it rewards being attacked on her terms rather than ambushed. Both champions attack from 125 units and deal physical damage; Ambessa spends energy, Kha’Zix mana.
