The developers from Blizzard Entertainment decided to seriously shake up the topic of housingup. During the recent “State of Azeroth” event, the publisher rolled out the announcement of a new show, Azeroth Interiors. This is an invitation tournament where top creators will compete in the art of arranging virtual meters in World of Warcraft.

Rules and schedule of the Azeroth Interiors show
The event starts very soon — from 17 to 24 February. The whole thing will be streamed on the official Twitch and YouTube platforms. In fact, we are waiting for a battle of six pairs of participants from all over the world. The format is interesting: each duo has a “host” who generates ideas, and a “builder” who embodies them in the game code.
The process is divided into three phases, which makes sense, doesn’t it:
-
Preparation (February 17th): The teams collect references and cut inspiration boards on Pinterest.
-
Construction (February 19-21): The most interesting thing is the realization of ideas.
-
The final (February 24): A Blizzard jury will evaluate the buildings live and select a champion.
By the way, Blizzard has previously tested this format at Gamescom as part of Creator Clash. Back then, I remember, four participants were building houses for speed — it was strong.
State of Azeroth Results and new Blizzard Bonuses
The State of Azeroth show is just the first part of four large—scale Blizzard Showcase events in honor of the brand’s 35th anniversary. The developers, in fact, flooded us with news about the future of MMO. One of the main things is the launch of the “Ambassador Program”, which will allow selected players to create official Discord servers and receive buns from Blizzard for this. The official WoW server itself, by the way, will be launched on February 26, 2026.

World of Warcraft Roadmap for 2026
The publisher presented a detailed development plan — and, frankly, it looks impressive.
Here’s what’s worth highlighting:
-
The Midnight Supplement: It will be a cannon — 8 new dungeons, 3 raids and the long-awaited increase in the cap level.
-
Classic Anniversary Edition: There will be raids at every stage, plus a new Arena season that will last until the fall.
-
Mists of Pandaria Classic: Will be divided into two parts, and the legendary “Siege of Orgrimmar” will be given a feel this summer.
Along the way, 2026 is going to be a really hot year for Azeroth fans. Blizzard seems to be serious about regaining leadership in the genre, and events like Azeroth Interiors are a great way to whet interest in new mechanics.
