Fortnite is once again surprising us with an unprecedented crossover—this time, Ben 10 and his cousin Gwen will be joining the battle royale. And the collaboration is likely to happen in the coming days.

Epic Games released a short teaser featuring Ben Tennyson flipping the Omnitrix switch, cycling through alien forms. According to insiders, the full partnership launch is scheduled for Friday, April 25th. So, the wait is almost over.

Which forms will Ben 10 appear in Fortnite?

The video shows four transformations:

  • Stinkfly
  • Wildmutt
  • Heatblast
  • Alien X

According to leaks, Heatblast and Alien X will be alternate styles for Ben’s skin. Gwen will likely receive a separate skin. Which one exactly is still a mystery. Her Anodite form seems most logical, although she did wear the Omnitrix in one episode. So fans can only guess.

New skins featuring a Ben 10 collab

Other famous aliens, like Four Arms or XLR8, will likely be transformed into other cosmetics: pickaxes, gliders, emotes, or weapon wraps. And if the collaboration is a hit, Epic will likely add them too.

A full announcement is promised tomorrow, but for now, you can rewatch the teaser and check out our first look at Ben 10 in the world of Fortnite.

Historical Context: Why This Matters

The Ben 10 animated series launched back in 2005 and instantly became a cult classic for an entire generation. Over the course of nearly 20 years, the franchise has spawned reboots and feature films, and Ben has kicked a thousand alien asses. His appearance in Fortnite is a tribute to the classic, which still enjoys a large global fan base.

Incidentally, this isn’t the first cartoon crossover this season. Previously, the game featured “K-Pop Demon Hunters” with a special mode, Demon Rush, which launched on October 2nd. The battle royale will also soon be available to download on Google Play outside the US—but that’s a whole other story.
