Vice City isn’t just neon and palm trees. How you get around is key. Jason and Lucia, the main characters in the new game, will spend almost as much time behind the wheel, at the helm, and even at the oar as they do on foot. Whether stealing a car for a quick cash, commandeering a helicopter to evade pursuit, or renting a boat for a leisurely island hopping trip, vehicles in GTA 6 are becoming more than just a means of transportation; they’re a fully-fledged gameplay tool. According to the extended trailer shown in August 2026, we’ll have a ton of choice.

All the vehicles in GTA 6, from cars to planes

Trailers and official footage have featured everything imaginable: from city sedans to propeller-driven planes. The list is astonishing—cars, vans, trucks, dirt bikes, bicycles, and even airboats. Water enthusiasts can enjoy jet skis, speedboats, fishing vessels, and kayaks. Helicopters, passenger airliners, and private jets are in the air. For those who prefer extreme sports on land, there are ATVs, buggies, and tow trucks. And, of course, police cars—where would we be without them?

Confirmed List of GTA 6 Cars and Vehicles

The developers aren’t skimping on details. So far, several dozen specific vehicles have been identified. Among them:

  • The Benefactor Schafter is a luxury sedan, a classic of the genre.
  • The Bravado Buffalo is a powerful muscle car that drift enthusiasts will surely appreciate.
  • The Ubermacht Cypher and Ubermacht Sentinel are two models from a German manufacturer, each sportier than the other.
  • The Declasse Burrito is the van that can be converted into a mobile headquarters.
  • The Nagasaki Kusari and Principe Alvino V1 are two motorcycles, one for the city and one for off-road use.
  • The Lurepredator L35P is a fishing boat, apparently designed for leisurely cruises in the bays.
  • The Lapwing is a propeller-driven plane, ideal for short flights between islands.
  • The Airgator is an airboat, useful in shallow waters.

There’s more to come.

Exclusive Vehicles from the Ultimate Edition

Special mention should be made of the vehicles in the Ultimate Edition, a collector’s edition that will apparently add retro models to the game. Among them are the ’95 Grotti Cheetah (a ’90s-style sports car), the Dinka Enduro (an off-road motorcycle), the Crest Kayak (a canoe), the Ganando Retro (another vintage car), the Shitzu Squalo (a boat), and the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy—a buggy with character. If you’re looking to pick up the Vintage Vice City Pack, you’ll get the ’55 Vapid Stanier—a true classic that’ll instantly take you back to the old Vice City vibe.

Car Brands in GTA 6

Many brands have migrated from previous games—Vapid, Benefactor, Declasse, Dinka, Principe, Shitzu, Grotti—long-time fans. But there are also newcomers: Lurepredator, Airgator, Obey, Nagasaki, Bravado, Ubermacht. Judging by the footage, all of them will offer their own unique models with different characteristics. Incidentally, Obey was also briefly seen in the extended trailer—it seems the German premium car brand will also be represented.

Vice City Car Fleet and GTA 6 Trailer Analysis

Grand Theft Auto 6’s automotive culture has been taken to a whole new level of detail. The developers at Rockstar Games have abandoned straightforward copying and instead embraced hybridization: they take the base of one car, apply the headlights of another, and refine the silhouette with elements from adjacent generations. In the latest footage from the August 2026 video, auto industry fans have identified dozens of matches with real-life donors.

The branding grid remains familiar, but has been refined. Bravado still references Dodge, Vapid maintains the Ford mask, Declasse stands for Chevrolet, and German premium is split between Ubermacht (BMW) and Pfister (Porsche). However, there has been a significant shift in the behavior of the cops and street racers.

Real-Life Car Prototypes in GTA 6

Fictional Brand & Model Donor Brand Real-Life Prototype
Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
Bravado Buffalo Dodge / Shelby Charger + Shelby GT500 (2007)
Bravado Banshee Dodge Viper 5th Gen
Pfister Comet Retro Custom Porsche 911 G-Series (80s)
Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio Porsche 911 992 Cabriolet
Grotti Cheetah Classic Ferrari Testarossa 512 BB
Grotti Carbonizzare Ferrari F12
Invetero Coquette D10 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Vapid Stanier (’55’) Oldsmobile 88 (1955)

In the shootout scene with the cops, Jason escapes pursuit in a Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire. This is a practically pure Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, without any unnecessary homages. However, the Bravado Buffalo driving in the adjacent lane is more complex: the designers crossed the body of a Dodge Charger with the front end of a 2007 Shelby GT500. And yes, the Vice City Police Interceptors have replaced their outdated sedans—the Ford Taurus from GTA V has been replaced by a fierce, yet thoroughly modern Dodge Charger.

Fans of German sports cars also have a great selection. The video features two versions of the Pfister Comet. The first is the classic Comet Retro Custom, based on the Porsche 911 G-Series from the 1980s. The second is the Comet S2 Cabrio, a direct analog of the modern Porsche 911 992 Cabriolet. As for Ubermacht, there are no mysteries: the iconic BMW kidney grilles are instantly recognizable, and on the racetrack, one of the cars references the Bavarian BMW M4, competing against a coupe based on the Infiniti G35.

The developers pulled a rather curious trick with the retro Vapid Stanier sedan from the Vintage Vice City Pack. Connoisseurs expected Ford roots inside, but Rockstar tied the car to real-life Miami Beach. The visual base was simply a 1955 Oldsmobile 88 from Ocean Drive.

There are exceptions to the rule. The new-generation Range Rover, for example, appears in leaked images without an obvious fake logo—a rare instance of a British SUV making it into the game in almost pristine condition. The situation is reversed with the German Mercedes E-Class: the sedan in the shot, similar in size, has a shape more typical of an American Cadillac, so there’s no direct confirmation yet regarding the Stuttgart donor.

All information, again, is based on previews and trailers, so the list may expand or change before the release, scheduled for November 2026. But it’s already clear: in GTA 6, we’ll get not just vehicles, but an entire ecosystem of movement, where every type of car, boat, and plane will find its use. All that’s left is to wait for the release and try each one out for yourself.
