VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals Set for Sao Paulo

The VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals will be held in Sao Paulo from September 4–6, bringing NRG, 100 Thieves, G2 and LOUD to Suhai Music Hall for the final three days of competition. The event marks the first time the VCT Americas Finals will take place outside Los Angeles, making Sao Paulo the setting for the region’s Stage 2 title race and its remaining Champions Shanghai qualification decisions.

The four-team field carries a clear competitive split into the Finals weekend. NRG and G2 have already secured their places at Champions Shanghai, while two spots for the Americas remain available. That leaves 100 Thieves and LOUD with a route still open, but every team also remains in contention for the VCT Americas Stage 2 championship. The schedule begins with NRG against 100 Thieves in the Upper Final and G2 against LOUD in the Lower Semifinal, establishing the paths that feed into Saturday’s Lower Bracket Final and Sunday’s Grand Final.

VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals Set

Four teams, two Shanghai places still open

Friday’s matches will determine the immediate shape of the Finals bracket. NRG and 100 Thieves are scheduled to meet in a best-of-three Upper Final at 10:00 AM PT. G2 and LOUD then play a best-of-three Lower Semifinal at 1:00 PM PT. The winner of the Upper Final advances directly beyond Saturday’s elimination match, while the loser will meet the winner of G2 versus LOUD in the Lower Bracket Final.

Saturday’s Lower Bracket Final is a best-of-five and will decide the last Stage 2 finalist. Its participants are defined by Friday’s results: the loser of NRG versus 100 Thieves faces the winner of G2 versus LOUD. The Grand Final follows on Sunday, September 6, at 10:00 AM PT as a best-of-five. The Champions Shanghai Group Draw is also listed for Grand Final day. In practical terms, the weekend is not simply a title event: it is the final competitive stretch through which the Americas’ remaining two Champions Shanghai places will be settled.

Showmatch and fan activities join the Finals

Competition will be accompanied by programming across all three days at Suhai Music Hall. Before Saturday’s Lower Bracket Final, the second VCT Americas OVERRIDE Showmatch will feature teams captained by Daiki and meL. The showmatch is scheduled for 10:00 AM PT and will be played on Summit. Its format puts the audience in control of round rules through chat, with examples including “Knife or Bandit,” “Right-click only,” “Open comms for both teams,” “No comms,” and maximum or minimum sensitivity. Full showmatch lineups are to be announced soon. Before the Grand Final, Rincon Sapiencia and Priscilla Alcantara will perform “Faz o Mundo Ouvir,” the official song of the VCT Americas Playoffs, live at the venue.

Attendees can also find Meet & Greets, photo opportunities, the Red Bull Map Bar, booths from FURIA, LOUD and MIBR, an Artist Alley and an official store with VCT Americas and VALORANT merchandise. Every attendee will receive a welcome kit. Fans not attending in person can follow the event through official broadcasts in English, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as in-person Watch Parties and authorized co-streamers. Fans attending the Finals in person, or taking part in official in-person Watch Parties across the Americas, will receive an exclusive in-game Spray. The venue is at Avenida das Nacoes Unidas, 22540, inside SP Market Shopping mall near Jurubatuba-Senac train Station on the CPTM 9-Emerald Line.
