About CNB e-Sports Club

CNB e-Sports Club was one of the early participants in Brazil’s premier League of Legends competition, the CBLOL, during the formative years of the country’s competitive scene. Representing Brazil, the organisation was part of the wave of teams that helped establish professional League of Legends as a serious pursuit in a nation with an enormous appetite for both traditional sport and gaming. Though the team has since disbanded, it remains associated with the growth of the sport in South America’s largest market.

Roots in the CBLOL

The CBLOL has long been the centrepiece of Brazilian competitive League of Legends, and clubs that took part in its early seasons played a foundational role in shaping the league’s identity. CNB e-Sports Club competed against domestic rivals for the chance to be crowned national champions and to earn passage to international events, where Brazilian squads sought to prove their region’s worth against more established competitive powers.

The Players

The roster associated with the club featured pbO, Duclou, Hawk, Freire, Vahvel and Mental. This group represented the kind of dedicated domestic talent that Brazilian teams were built around during the era, combining local knowledge of the meta with the ambition to elevate the region’s standing. Rosters like this one were instrumental in developing the competitive culture that Brazilian fans continue to support with remarkable enthusiasm.

The Brazilian Scene

Brazil has consistently ranked among the most passionate League of Legends audiences in the world, with packed arenas and vibrant online communities. The CBLOL provided the structure through which that passion was channelled into professional competition, and teams such as CNB were among those that gave the league its early character and rivalries.

Closing Chapter

As a now-defunct organisation, CNB e-Sports Club belongs to the history of Brazilian esports rather than its present. Even so, the team’s participation in the CBLOL contributed to the foundations upon which the modern Brazilian scene was built. Its story is one of early ambition in a market that would go on to become one of the most important emerging territories in global League of Legends.
