Vayne

Shauna Vayne doesn’t fight for territory, glory, or a cause bigger than herself. She fights because a demon murdered her family, and she has spent her life since hunting down whatever practices or creates dark magic. Demacia gives that mission a receptive home: the kingdom’s own culture treats magic as something to be distrusted and, where necessary, hunted, and Vayne’s private war against monsters and sorcerers fits squarely inside that instinct even though her reasons are entirely her own. She plays the part of a marksman with an assassin’s instincts, equally comfortable trading damage in a lane or slipping off alone to finish a target in the dark.

She works from the shadows, armed with that same wrist-mounted crossbow and little patience for anything except the next kill that counts. Her toolkit is built for exactly that kind of hunt:

• Tumble — a short repositioning maneuver that empowers her next attack, though it can’t carry her over walls.
• Silver Bolts — bolts tipped with a metal toxic to evil things; a third consecutive hit on the same target adds bonus damage scaled to that target’s max health, making a prolonged fight especially costly for whoever she’s chosen to punish.
• Condemn — a heavy crossbow shot that knocks a target back and impales them against terrain for extra damage, or simply buys her room to retreat when a pursuer gets too close.
• Final Hour — her ultimate, granting bonus attack damage, brief invisibility during Tumble, a shorter Tumble cooldown, and extra move speed from her passive, Night Hunter, which already speeds her toward nearby enemies.

None of it is built for open confrontation. Vayne is fragile by design and plays best when she isn’t the one initiating — waiting for pressure to build elsewhere before she picks her angle, pins a target against a wall, or vanishes mid-fight rather than trading blows in the open. It’s the same patient approach whether her target is a rogue mage or the demon she’s still chasing after all these years spent inside Demacia‘s borders.
