Kled

Ask around Noxus about Kled and the answers change depending on who is asked. The common soldiers tend to love him. The officers keep their distance. The nobility cannot stand him. What everyone agrees on is that he is a yordle, he is ornery, and he embodies the empire’s taste for bravado better than almost anyone wearing an actual uniform.

His legend, as it is usually told, rests on a few standard claims:

1. That he has fought in every campaign the Noxian legions have ever waged.
2. That he has “acquired” every military title going, generally without anyone actually granting them to him.
3. That no fight has ever been the one to finally make him retreat, no matter the odds stacked against him.

How much of that is true is genuinely unclear, and Kled has never seemed interested in correcting the record either way. What is not in question is the one detail that keeps showing up no matter who is telling the story: Kled charges into every fight astride his mount Skaarl, protecting what is his and grabbing whatever else happens to be within reach along the way.

That partnership with Skaarl defines how he actually fights. His passive has Skaarl absorbing damage in his place, and once the lizard’s health runs out, Kled dismounts, changing his abilities and cutting his own damage to champions until he earns his way back on. Bear Trap on a Rope hooks a target and yanks them in close if the shackle holds. Violent Tendencies builds toward a heavier fourth attack after a burst of speed. Jousting lets him dash through a target and then dash back through it again for good measure. Chaaaaaaaarge!!!, his ultimate, sends Kled and Skaarl barreling toward a location together, leaving a speed trail behind them until Skaarl rams the first enemy champion unlucky enough to be standing in the way.
