Kayle

Kayle was born to a Targonian Aspect during the Rune Wars, and that ancestry shows in everything about her: wings of divine flame, a conviction that justice is worth enforcing personally rather than leaving to others. She and her twin sister Morgana watched over Demacia together for years, a kingdom that prizes law and honor but has little patience for magic like theirs. The partnership did not last. Kayle grew disillusioned with how often mortals failed to live up to the standards she held them to, and eventually she left the realm entirely. Stories persist of her punishing the unjust wherever she still finds them, and plenty of Demacians quietly hope she has not finished with the world just yet.

A Fighter Who Grows Into Herself

Kayle is not built for a fixed role; she changes shape as a match goes on. Her passive, Divine Ascent, rewards her for leveling up and investing skill points by steadily granting more attack speed, move speed, and attack range, meaning the melee fighter she starts as is not the ranged threat she eventually becomes.

• Celestial Blessing heals Kayle and the nearest ally while granting both a burst of speed.
