Jubilant Veil lets Nilah dodge all incoming attacks while the mist holds, and Zeri’s damage runs almost entirely through attacks: Living Battery treats them as abilities, and Burst Fire is explicitly an attack. Range should protect her and largely does not. She stands at 550 to Nilah’s 225, but Formless Blade extends Nilah’s attack range on cast and Slipstream dashes through anything between them, while Joy Unending grants extra experience from last-hitting and enhances healing and shielding shared from allies, making a supported Nilah tougher than 570 base health implies. Apotheosis damages everything nearby and then pulls it closer, undoing the spacing Spark Surge just bought.

The counterplay sits in the stat sheet. Nilah owns the smaller health pool at both ends, 570 against 600 early and 2,287 against 2,470 at level 18, and her difficulty rating of 10 against Zeri‘s 6 means the matchup is lost to kit rather than to execution, so an imprecise Nilah drops trades she should win. Ultrashock Laser, slowing on impact and expanding off a wall into a long laser, is the most reliable punish for a Slipstream that lands short.
