Once that is up the spacing inverts, and the recorded outcome inverts with it: 42.9% for Xayah over 333 games on patch 16.13.1.

Percent-health scaling changes what durability means. Xayah’s 2,449 health at level 18 is the larger target of the two, and because the damage is magic her 96.4 armor never touches it. Caustic Spittle corrodes armor and magic resist while granting him attack speed, and Void Ooze leaves a slowing trail that makes disengaging expensive. Neither champion holds a movement advantage, since both walk at 330. Kog’Maw is the frailer body underneath all of it, 635 base health and 2,318 at level 18 with 24 base armor to Xayah’s 25, so the burst window is genuine if she can reach it.

Xayah’s window is early, before the range flip. Double Daggers drop Feathers, Clean Cuts adds more after every ability, and Bladecaller converts the whole field into damage and a root. Featherstorm‘s untargetable leap is worth saving for Living Artillery, which is amplified significantly against low-health enemies, and for Icathian Surprise, the true-damage explosion four seconds after Kog’Maw dies.
