Nasus vs Kled Counter Pick

Kled’s base health reads 410, an unusually low figure, and it is misleading. Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard absorbs damage on his behalf and only dismounts once the mount’s health is gone, so the pool worth planning against is the combined one. Nasus sits at 44.0% here across 223 games on patch 16.13.1 largely for that reason: a top matchup that looks winnable on printed health bars is not.

Resource cost compounds it. Kled spends Courage, so nothing throttles how often he trades, whereas Nasus needs mana for Siphoning Strike stacking and for Spirit Fire on the wave. Violent Tendencies grants a burst of attack speed across four attacks with the fourth hitting hardest, Bear Trap on a Rope hooks and adds physical damage if the shackle holds, and Jousting dashes through the target and back out again.

Nasus keeps 350 move speed to 345 and 67 attack damage to 65, but the armor race is lost at 34 rising to 113.9 against 35 rising to 123.4, and Wither is the only dependable answer to that four-attack window. Holding it for the window instead of using it to chase a kill is the single largest correction available.
