Reign of Anger builds Fury from his attacks, faster when his health is low, and every empowered ability spends it: Cull the Meek heals for more, Ruthless Predator stuns beyond its base 0.75 seconds, Slice and Dice reduces armour. There is no mana constraint, only a window, and on patch 16.13.1 Kayle survives it often enough to hold 55.8% through 548 games.

The early numbers suggest that window should be decisive. Renekton brings 69 attack damage at level one to her 50, reaches 2,547 health and 123.4 armour at level 18 against her 2,234 and 97.4, and moves at 345 to her 335. His attack range is 125 against her 175, which is the single early lever she owns, spacing her attacks so that Slice and Dice becomes the only way in.

After that the matchup inverts. Divine Ascent converts levels into attack speed and range, Starfire Spellblade shifts part of her output into magic damage his 28 base magic resist does not cover, and Radiant Blast reduces the resistances that make Dominus threatening.
