One incoming player, one finalized loan and one bench move have reshaped Eternal Fire’s CS2 lineup. Caner “soulfly” Kesici arrives from Aurora, Samet “jottAAA” Köklü now belongs to Eternal Fire permanently, and Alexander “br0” Bro leaves the active five.
All three decisions are connected. soulfly occupies the place opened by br0’s benching, while the second agreement with Aurora removes the temporary status from jottAAA’s return. Eternal Fire consequently have five active players again without ending the partnership that began in February.
Aurora had kept soulfly outside their starting group since July 2. Before that decision, the 22-year-old spent six months in the lineup and averaged a 1.01 rating while filling supportive duties. During the same period, Aurora were runners-up at ESL Pro League Season 23 and reached the last four of the IEM Cologne Major.
jottAAA followed a different route between the same organizations. He had played for Eternal Fire for years before coming back from Aurora on loan in February. The latest agreement changes the terms of that comeback rather than introducing him to a new team: his place is now permanent.
How br0’s Short Run Reached the Bench
Only eight recorded matches separate br0’s arrival and his removal from the starting roster. Eternal Fire added the Dane from NRG on July 5. His opening competition brought a trophy at European Pro League Series 8, but the next two appearances did not extend that start.
Eternal Fire finished 9th-16th at NODWIN Clutch Series 10, then saw their Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier attempt end against BIG. br0 produced a 0.93 rating across 21 maps in this stretch. For comparison, the reported figures from his earlier stops were 1.13 over 18 months at NRG, 1.02 at Monte and 1.01 at Astralis. The club presented his new reserve status as one part of its wider roster restructuring.

Each player therefore receives a different outcome from the same announcement. soulfly returns to an active roster after waiting on Aurora’s bench. jottAAA gets certainty over a return already in progress. br0 stays within Eternal Fire, but only as a reserve after his brief starting spell.
Who Starts Now and What Comes Next
The five names on Eternal Fire’s active list are soulfly, Gareth “MisteM” Ries, Iulian “regali” Harjău, Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol and jottAAA. The reserve list contains br0 alongside Ömer “imoRR” Karataş.
Their first listed assignment begins August 27 in the Logitech G Play Connect closed qualifier. Two teams from that stage will move into the main competition, which runs from September 17 through September 23. A trip to Romania for DraculaN Season 7 is also on Eternal Fire’s October calendar.
The Aurora connection does not make the two transactions identical. soulfly changes clubs after sitting out from July 2; jottAAA simply converts an existing temporary arrangement into a lasting one. That difference explains why the announcement both adds a player and confirms another.
It also defines the immediate task without requiring a prediction. The new five have a dated qualifier in front of them, soulfly has an active place again, and jottAAA can prepare without the uncertainty attached to a loan.

Taken together, the moves answer three separate roster questions. Eternal Fire have replaced br0 after eight matches, restored soulfly to active competition and kept jottAAA beyond the loan that brought him back in February.
The sequence is already complete on paper; the competitive part starts on August 27. That qualifier will be the first event for a lineup formed by the two Aurora agreements and Eternal Fire’s decision to place br0 in reserve.
