Showdown is a battle royale, and the biggest mistake new players make is fighting too early. Patience wins games here.
Farm before you fight
Open by farming power cubes from boxes and weak bushes rather than rushing the nearest enemy. Power cubes compound, so a small early lead becomes a huge advantage by the end.
Position around the poison
Stay near the centre as the poison closes in, always keep an escape route, and avoid third-party fights where a healthy brawler cleans up two weakened ones. Let other players trade while you stay healthy.
Close it out
In the final few, use the terrain — bushes, walls and the shrinking safe zone — to control engagements. Pick a tanky or high-burst brawler, play the long game, and you will be the last one standing.
