Gem Grab Strategy: Control the Mine and Win

Gem Grab is won and lost around the mine in the centre of the map. The team that controls that space collects gems and dictates the pace of the match.

Win the middle

Open by establishing control with a brawler that can lock down the centre — Tara, Gene or Pam are all excellent. Your gem carrier should sit a step behind the front line, never leading the charge.

Respect the magic number

Once your team holds ten gems, slow down. Avoid unnecessary fights, protect the carrier with your tank and control brawler, and let the countdown win the game for you.

When you fall behind

Hunt the enemy carrier instead of chasing loose gems. A well-timed super that wipes a defender can flip the entire match. Communicate, hold position and stay patient.
