Brawl Stars June 2026 Update: Nori, Wendy, NanoPowers, New Modes and Balance Changes
The June 2026 update for Brawl Stars is one of the biggest content drops of the year. Supercell has prepared two connected seasons, new gameplay systems, two new Brawlers, fresh events, new modes, PvE boss battles, many skins and a large balance patch.
This update is built around two seasonal themes: NanoNoodles and Windstock. Both seasons are connected through one storyline, where a futuristic automated noodle restaurant appears near the sushi shop owned by Kenji and Kaze. This strange new place becomes the center of the update and introduces the legendary Brawler Nori, the child of Kenji and Kaze.
The update also adds Wendy, a new Mythic Support Brawler, as well as new temporary powers, boss fights, ranked changes, map rotations and several major gameplay adjustments.

Two Connected Seasons: NanoNoodles and Windstock
The update is split into two different but connected seasons. The first one, NanoNoodles, focuses on futuristic food, nano technology and the mysterious automated noodle shop. The second season, Windstock, continues the theme with a different visual style and introduces a new version of seasonal powers called Fusions.
In NanoNoodles, players will collect NanoDrops. These special drops allow players to choose from different cups. Each cup contains a different amount of NanoNoodles, which then turn into rewards. Every NanoDrop also fills a separate progress meter that unlocks additional bonuses.

In the second season, the same basic idea continues with Smoothie Drops. Instead of NanoNoodles, players collect Gulps and progress through the Smoothie Meter. The biggest change in Windstock is the arrival of Fusions, which are stronger versions of NanoPowers for selected Brawlers.
NanoPowers Explained
NanoPowers are temporary seasonal upgrades for Brawlers. They can be unlocked from NanoDrops and are automatically activated in special game modes that use the NanoPower modifier.
There are 106 NanoPowers in total, divided into four rarity levels:
| Rarity | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Baseline | Basic seasonal upgrade |
| Augmented | Stronger and more noticeable effect |
| Cybernetic | Advanced power with bigger impact |
| Quantum | Highest rarity with the strongest effects |
Each NanoPower gives a Brawler three possible powers. At the start of a match, players are offered two of them and must choose one. This makes matches more tactical, because the same Brawler can be played differently depending on the selected power.
For example, one match may allow a Brawler to play more aggressively, while another power may make the same character better for defense, control or team support. This system adds more variety to seasonal gameplay and gives players more reasons to experiment.
What Are Fusions?
Fusions are introduced during the Windstock season. They work as an upgraded version of NanoPowers. If a Brawler already has a NanoPower and later receives a Fusion, the Fusion replaces the previous power.
The main difference is that Fusions combine two effects at once. In a match with the Fusion modifier active, a Brawler can receive two out of three powers together. This makes Fusions much stronger and more flexible than regular NanoPowers.
This system will likely have a big impact on limited-time modes because it can completely change how some Brawlers behave in battle.
New Events in the Update
The June update adds several new events that give players more daily and weekly activities.
Daily Contests
Daily Contests are short daily competitions with limited attempts. Each day, players receive a new set of challenges and can choose one of three available modes. Playing at least one match is enough to earn NanoDrops, but better performance gives players more chances to climb higher and receive better rewards.

This event is designed to keep the season active every day without forcing players to grind for many hours.
Topple the Tower
Topple the Tower is one of the most interesting events in the update. It is a five-floor tower challenge. Each floor has its own map and game mode. Before starting the event, players receive a limited pool of Brawlers.
When a player wins a floor, the Brawler used on that floor becomes locked there, and the player moves higher. If the player loses, they stay on the same floor, but the selected Brawler is removed from the available pool.
All Brawlers in this event are set to max level, so the challenge is more about smart choices and skill than account progression. The tower can be played once per day, and every cleared floor gives a reward. Players who complete the full tower without losing can earn the special title Unbeatable.
Side Quests
Side Quests are additional tasks connected to selected Brawlers of the week. Completing them fills a separate reward track and gives extra prizes.
Some Side Quests may be locked if the player does not own the required Brawler or if the Brawler is not upgraded enough. This creates an extra reason to try different characters and not only focus on the same few meta picks.
New Boss Battles: Nori, Tara and Brock
The update introduces three new boss encounters: Nori, Tara and Brock. Each boss fight has its own mechanics and requires a different approach.
| Boss | Main Mechanics |
|---|---|
| Nori | Fast dashes, fishing rod attacks and fish helpers |
| Tara | Clones, black holes and dangerous projectiles |
| Brock | Heavy rocket attacks and constant pressure |
Nori’s boss fight focuses on mobility and quick reactions. Tara creates chaos on the battlefield with clones and black holes. Brock turns the arena into a rocket zone where players must constantly move and avoid explosions.
These fights add more PvE variety and give players something different from regular 3v3 battles.
Nori: New Legendary Assassin
Nori is a new Legendary Brawler and belongs to the Assassin class. He is connected to Kenji and Kaze and plays an important role in the update’s story.
His gameplay is based on fishing, dashing and building up power before using a strong Super.
Nori’s Main Attack: Fishing Fury
Nori’s main attack allows him to strike forward. If the attack is charged, he throws his fishing rod. The longer the charge, the farther the rod travels.
Nori can pull himself toward walls or enemy Brawlers. While moving, he can pass through enemies and deal damage. If the attack is fully charged, Nori can even jump over walls.

Successful attacks help Nori catch fish. These fish are important because they make his Super stronger.
Nori’s Super: Catch of the Day
Nori’s Super makes him dive into water and then reappear with an area attack. The Super uses all the fish Nori has collected. Each fish increases the size and damage of the attack.
This means Nori rewards players who plan ahead. Instead of instantly using the Super, skilled players can collect fish first and then unleash a much stronger attack at the perfect moment.
Wendy: New Mythic Support Brawler
Wendy is a new Mythic Support Brawler. Her kit is focused on shields, protection and team utility. She can walk on water and charges her Super when her shield takes damage.
Wendy is not designed only for direct damage. Her biggest value comes from helping teammates survive and controlling the area around objectives.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Main Attack | Deals damage to enemies and gives Wendy a shield |
| Ally Hit | Gives a shield to an ally |
| Super | Places a generator that absorbs part of incoming damage |
| Gadgets | Jump platform or slowing grenade |
| Star Powers | Slows enemies near the generator or increases generator health |
Wendy looks especially useful in modes where teams need to hold positions, protect key areas or survive aggressive enemy pushes.
New Hypercharges and Buffies
The update also adds new Hypercharges for Starr Nova and Bolt.
Starr Nova’s Hypercharge makes her dash safer and gives her almost unlimited ammo for a short time. Bolt’s Hypercharge allows his Hyper Super to destroy walls, making him more dangerous and better at opening up the map.
Another important part of the update is the addition of new Buffies for several Brawlers. Rico, Brock, 8-Bit, Meg, Max and Surge all receive special improvements.
These changes are not just small number adjustments. Some of them affect gadgets, Supers and Star Powers, which can change how these Brawlers are played.
- Rico receives new tools connected to bouncing shots.
- Brock becomes more active because his Super now follows his movement.
- 8-Bit gets more value from his turret.
- Meg becomes more aggressive with her Mecha.
- Max receives more team-focused utility.
- Surge gains more ways to charge and speed up his gameplay.
New Skins and Cosmetic Content
The June 2026 update includes a large number of new skins across both seasons.
The NanoNoodles season includes skins such as Master Mico, Tickoyaki, Fighter Berry, Cyber Shelly, Tech Tara and Nano Nori. The Windstock season adds Biotech Byron, Grizzled Kenji, Energized Sprout, Retrofuture Rosa, Windstock Gray and Turbine Moe.

There are also special Adidas skins, event skins for Meg, Ranked skins for Brock and True Silver and True Gold skins for Damian, Starr Nova and Bolt.
For players who enjoy collecting cosmetics, this update offers a lot of new content. The skins are spread across different parts of the game, so not everything will be unlocked from one single source.
Balance Changes: Buffed Brawlers
The balance patch improves many Brawlers that were struggling in the current meta. Several damage dealers, throwers and control characters receive important buffs.
| Brawler | Main Buff |
|---|---|
| Piper | More health and damage |
| Mandy | Stronger attack and improved Hard Candy |
| Gale | More Super damage |
| Tara | Faster reload speed |
| Dynamike | Faster reload speed |
| Sprout | More damage and better attack speed |
| Buzz | Faster Super and Hypercharge charging |
| Carl | More main attack damage |
| R-T | Stronger Eat Static damage |
These buffs could bring some forgotten Brawlers back into the meta. The changes to throwers are especially interesting because Dynamike, Sprout and Barley may become stronger on maps where control is important.
Piper and Mandy also become more dangerous as long-range damage dealers. If the meta slows down even slightly, these Brawlers may become much more popular.
Nerfed Brawlers
The update also weakens several strong or overly reliable Brawlers. The goal seems to be reducing safe pressure, fast cycling and too much survivability.
Some of the nerfed Brawlers include Mortis, Colette, Crow, Leon, Chester, Edgar, Mina, Ruffs, Meeple, Shade, Lumi, Najia, Pierce and Bolt.
Mortis loses part of the strength from his gadgets and receives a longer cooldown. Colette charges her Super less often and becomes less protected during Mass Tax. Crow becomes easier to punish and loses some of his constant poison pressure.
Edgar is also weaker because he gets fewer chances to jump and has less recovery after eliminations. Pierce receives longer cooldowns on both gadgets, which should reduce his consistency as a flexible damage dealer.
Overall, these nerfs are aimed at Brawlers who were too safe, too fast or too difficult to counter in many situations.
New Game Modes
The update adds several new modes, including food-themed PvP and PvE activities.
Combat Cooking
Combat Cooking is a PvE mode for three players. The team must collect ingredients and deliver them to a wok to complete orders. Recipes can require three to five ingredients.
Ingredients are carried by special bots on the map, and players must defeat them, collect the items and complete three orders before time runs out.
Food Fight
Food Fight is a 3v3 PvP version of the cooking concept. Both teams compete for the same type of orders. The first team to complete all recipes wins.
If the match is tied, overtime begins. This mode combines objective control, team fighting and fast decision-making.
Mecha Guard
Mecha Guard is a new PvE mode that arrives later in the update. Players must carry and charge a battery for Meg’s Mecha while surviving waves of enemies.
The mode includes upgrades, stronger enemy waves and a final boss fight. It sounds like one of the more ambitious PvE activities in the update.
Maps, Environments and Ranked Rotation
The update removes several environments, including Biodome, Giftshop and Starr Toons Studios. New environments include Katana Kingdom, a Showdown Hub and Windstock.
New maps are also added for the seasonal modes. Some of them include Quantum Kitchen, Wok & Roll, Undercooked, Stir Station, Woktopia, Cloud Kitchen, Mill & Chill and Turbine Terrace.
Ranked also receives changes. In the first season, the main Ranked mode is Gem Grab. In the second season, the focus shifts to Brawl Ball.
| Season | Free Brawlers |
|---|---|
| Season 1 | Berry, Tara and Meg |
| Season 2 | Trunk, Willow and Kaze |
Brawl Arena Adjustments
Brawl Arena receives its own balance changes. Health bonuses per round are reduced, making matches slightly less tanky over time. Some Brawlers also receive specific adjustments for this mode.
Rosa receives a nerf to her Super charge rate, while several other Brawlers receive improvements. Damage boosts, healing changes and ability tweaks should make Arena matches more balanced and less dominated by a few strong picks.
These changes are important because Brawl Arena plays differently from regular modes. A Brawler that is balanced in 3v3 may be too strong or too weak in Arena, so separate adjustments make sense.
Final Thoughts
The June 2026 Brawl Stars update is not just a regular seasonal patch. It adds two connected seasons, two new Brawlers, a large set of seasonal powers, several new events, new PvE bosses, fresh game modes and many balance changes.
Nori looks like a high-skill Assassin with strong mobility and combo potential. Wendy brings a more defensive support style with shields and team protection. NanoPowers and Fusions add more variety to temporary modes, while events like Topple the Tower and Daily Contests give players more reasons to return every day.
The balance patch also looks important. Some underused Brawlers may return to the meta, while several dominant picks are being toned down.
Overall, this update gives Brawl Stars a lot of new content for both casual players and competitive fans. Players who enjoy collecting skins, testing new mechanics, playing PvE modes or climbing Ranked will all find something new in this patch.
