Vavle announced a new tournament The International 2024 Dota 2: Prize fund – schedule
The tournament is scheduled to take place from October 12th to October 29th, 2023. It is known as TI13, and at the moment, it boasts a prize pool of $50 million. The full schedule of matches will appear later in a special post.
The tournament will be held in the vicinity of Seattle, USA.
This edition of The International will return to Seattle, and the main event will take place at two different venues, similar to last year’s TI in Singapore: the playoffs will be held at the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit, while the finals will be held at the Climate Pledge Arena, which is the familiar venue for Dota players, formerly known as the Key Arena. This stadium hosted TIs from 2014 to 2017.

List of participants for The International 2023
There will be 20 teams from different regions participating in TI12. While last year, organizers introduced an additional Last Chance qualification tournament for the teams that placed second and third in each region’s qualifiers to determine two additional participants for The International, they decided against this idea in 2023.
For this tournament, the top 12 teams from the Dota Pro Circuit’s ranking season directly secured their spots.
The remaining 8 slots (an increase from 6 slots last year) were contested in regional qualifiers in Eastern Europe, Western Europe, China, Southeast Asia, North America, and South America. South America and Western Europe received 2 slots each, while the winners of the qualifiers from all other regions advanced to TI.
