SK Nebula defeated Twisted Minds Orchid after overtime on Lotus

SK Nebula defeated Twisted Minds Orchid 2-1 after a close deciding map. Orchid won Haven 13-8 and held the early series lead. Nebula answered on Split before taking Lotus in overtime.

Nebula won Split 13-10 to level the three-map series. Lotus then reached 12-12 and required extra rounds. Nebula won both overtime rounds and completed the match 14-12.

Twisted Minds Orchid won the first map on Haven

Haven gave Orchid three sites and several rotation options. The team used those choices to establish a lead before the side change. Nebula struggled to read every late change. Orchid remained ahead after the side change and reached thirteen rounds. Nebula finished Haven with only eight attacking and defensive rounds. The five-round margin made Haven the clearest Orchid performance.

The opening result placed Nebula one map from defeat. Split now carried immediate importance for both Valorant teams. Orchid needed one more map to close the series.

SK Nebula controlled the second map on Split

Split produced a smaller gap and more pressure during the closing rounds. Nebula improved its defensive coordination around the narrow central routes. Orchid still reached ten rounds before Nebula completed the map. Nebula found the final three rounds before overtime became possible. The 13-10 result levelled the match at one map each. Lotus would decide the complete series.

The response did not erase Orchid’s Haven advantage. It created a new contest on a different layout. Both teams entered Lotus with one completed victory.

The final map on Lotus reached overtime

Neither team could create a lasting lead on the deciding map. Lotus reached 12-12 after all regulation rounds. The next phase required a team to win two consecutive rounds.

Only two rounds separated the teams overall

Orchid won thirty-five rounds across the three maps. Nebula also collected thirty-five rounds across the complete series. The equal total shows why the final result depended on map victories. Orchid gained five rounds on Haven. Nebula recovered three on Split and two on Lotus. Those margins cancelled each other across the complete match.

Tournament rules award the series to the team with two map wins. Nebula won Split and Lotus to secure two map victories. Orchid’s larger Haven margin could not change that count.

SK Nebula won Split and Lotus in different ways
