FUT Esports beat GIANTX 2-0 in EMEA Stage 2

FUT Esports defeated GIANTX 2-0 in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 upper-bracket quarterfinal. FUT won Split 13-6 and Sunset 13-10.

S0pp led the match with 40 kills and 193 average damage per round. Yetujey added 39 kills and finished with the highest overall rating.

Split gave FUT a clear opening result

FUT established the stronger pace on Split and reached thirteen rounds quickly. GIANTX collected six before the map ended. The seven-round difference was the largest margin in the series. FUT controlled enough early fights to protect its economy.

S0pp and yetujey provided frequent damage during both halves. Their output limited the number of full five-player rounds available to GIANTX. Split ended after nineteen rounds and placed FUT one map from victory. GIANTX needed Sunset to keep the series active.

GIANTX produced a stronger Sunset

The second map remained closer through its final stages. GIANTX reached ten rounds and kept FUT under pressure. FUT still found the three additional wins required for a 13-10 finish. The map ended without overtime after twenty-three rounds.

GIANTX improved by four round wins compared with Split. That response extended the map but did not force a deciding selection. FUT completed both chosen maps in regulation. The team paired one clear score with one competitive finish.

Yetujey posted the highest match rating

Yetujey recorded 39 kills and only 21 deaths. His 1.41 rating was the best figure among all players. The plus-eighteen kill difference showed steady impact across both maps. He also averaged 145 damage per round.

S0pp finished with 40 kills, the highest total in the match. His 271 average combat score and 193 damage per round led every player. The two teammates delivered different statistical strengths. Together, they gave FUT a reliable advantage in repeated gun rounds.

FUT’s support figures helped convert opening damage into complete rounds. Three players reached at least nineteen assists or a positive kill margin. That balance was especially useful on Sunset. GIANTX remained close enough to punish any isolated mistakes near the end.

Ara led the GIANTX response

Ara finished with 31 kills and a 1.02 rating. He was the only GIANTX player above a 1.00 match rating. Net added 27 kills and 13 assists. Flickless recorded 28 kills, while westside reached 25.

Every GIANTX player ended below or level with his death total. FUT created a positive difference across three members of its lineup. GIANTX improved on the second map but could not erase those repeated disadvantages. Sunset ended three rounds short of overtime.

FUT advance after forty-two rounds

The complete series contained forty-two rounds. FUT won twenty-six and GIANTX won sixteen. The ten-round overall difference came mostly from Split. Sunset accounted for only three rounds of separation.

FUT move forward in the upper bracket after winning both selections. GIANTX continue through the lower side of the event. The result rested on strong individual numbers and consistent round conversion. FUT did not require a third map to complete the quarterfinal.

Split created most of the overall difference

FUT won twenty-six rounds across the two maps. GIANTX collected sixteen during the complete quarterfinal. Seven rounds separated the teams on Split. Sunset added only three more to the overall difference.

That contrast shows a stronger GIANTX response after the opening defeat. FUT still reached the required thirteen rounds first. FUT completed both maps in regulation after forty-two total rounds. The first map created most of the final difference.

S0pp led the damage figures

S0pp averaged 193 damage per round across Split and Sunset. That figure placed him well ahead of every other player in the match. Yetujey recorded one fewer kill but died only twenty-one times. His stronger survival produced the highest overall rating.

Ara supplied GIANTX’s only rating above 1.00. The rest of the lineup could not match the three positive FUT performances. The result joined those individual differences with better round conversion. FUT led the main damage figures and won both maps.

FUT completed the quarterfinal without a third map

The opening result on Split gave FUT room to manage the series. GIANTX improved on Sunset but remained short of the closing rounds.

Both victories came in regulation and used different margins. FUT combined the stronger team total with the highest individual rating from Yetujey.
