BBL Esports beat PCIFIC Esports 2-1 after the teams split their own map choices. BBL controlled Sunset, PCIFIC answered on Lotus, and Ascent decided the series.
The final scores were 13-7, 9-13 and 13-7. BBL responded to the second-map loss by building another strong first half on Ascent.
BBL created the first lead on Sunset
BBL selected Sunset after banning Summit. PCIFIC removed Haven and entered the first map with Chamber as part of its defensive setup. The opening rounds remained close while both teams built their economy. BBL then found repeated entries and reached the interval with a useful advantage. Crewen controlled several rounds from Cypher. His information allowed BBL to move early and avoid attacks into the strongest PCIFIC positions.
Loita supported those rotations from Omen. Lovers rock added flexible pressure with Yoru and created uncertainty around the first contact. PCIFIC produced seven rounds and stayed competitive through the middle of the map. BBL closed the final phase before the score became dangerous. The 13-7 win gave BBL an early advantage in the series. PCIFIC then moved to Lotus, the map it had selected.
PCIFIC answered on its own map
Lotus gave PCIFIC more room to use prepared attacking routes. PCIFIC won more opening duels and avoided the economic problems from Sunset. BBL still won nine rounds and kept pressure on the closing stages. The map never became a simple recovery for PCIFIC. PCIFIC protected its lead by trading quickly after an opening death. That discipline reduced the impact of BBL’s individual entries. The team also varied the final site choice. BBL could not rely on one early read to move its defenders. PCIFIC reached thirteen rounds before BBL could force a late comeback. The 13-9 result levelled the match and sent both teams to Ascent. Each side won its preferred map. Ascent then separated the teams through BBL’s stronger work in the middle rounds.

BBL began Ascent with clearer control of the central area. Winning space there limited PCIFIC’s options for late site changes. Lar0k recovered from a quieter second map and delivered important entries. Crewen remained active in the rounds that required patient information work. BBL also protected its advantages more effectively. Players stayed close enough to trade rather than offering separate duels. PCIFIC found seven rounds and threatened during several economy changes. It never won enough consecutive rounds to take control. BBL reached the closing rounds with weapons available and a stable defensive plan. That position allowed the team to finish the map 13-7. Ascent repeated the score from Sunset but followed a different route. BBL controlled the important middle rounds instead of relying on one late run.
The series tested BBL’s response
BBL’s response came immediately after Lotus. The team lost a competitive map and then reset before Ascent. The team did not carry the same unsuccessful attacks into Ascent. It returned to simple trades, early information and controlled site entries. PCIFIC showed enough on Lotus to prevent a quick series. Its response forced BBL to play every map in the best-of-three.
Crewen’s consistency helped connect the two BBL victories. Loita and lovers rock provided additional damage when the rounds became open. PCIFIC challenged BBL during each map and won Lotus. BBL still controlled the most important stretches on Sunset and Ascent. BBL won Ascent by the same six-round margin as Sunset. PCIFIC took Lotus but could not repeat that control on the final map.

The veto produced three different map tests
BBL began on Sunset and gained most of its advantage after the side switch. Crewen’s information helped the defence move before PCIFIC committed. PCIFIC answered on Lotus through cleaner trades and more varied site choices. The win forced the series onto Ascent. Ascent placed more value on control of the central area. BBL secured that space and limited PCIFIC’s late changes between sites.
Lar0k supplied the early entries, while Loita protected the next duel. BBL kept players close enough to trade after the first contact. PCIFIC still created several dangerous economy rounds. BBL answered before those rounds developed into a long comeback. The 13-7 Ascent result matched BBL’s Sunset score and decided the series. PCIFIC left with a strong Lotus performance but no match win.
BBL reset its approach after Lotus
BBL did not repeat the slow attacks that failed on Lotus. The team returned to early information and short trading distances on Ascent. Crewen remained useful even when he was not taking the first duel. His utility revealed rotations and protected the final site choice. Lovers rock added pressure from a second angle. That prevented PCIFIC from placing every defender near the same entry route.
PCIFIC showed that it could punish BBL on a prepared map. The deciding map asked for another plan, and BBL adjusted more quickly. The result gave BBL the standings win after all three maps. PCIFIC’s strongest period remained the controlled victory on Lotus.
