KRÜ have set a new path for four players from the SPARK development team. Tkzin, benG, phc and mont1 will remain with the organisation. Each player will receive a first-team trial after the current season.
NagZ and jotinha have left after their contracts ended. The announcement follows the close of KRÜ SPARK’s Challengers campaign. KRÜ described the retained group as part of a professional development programme.
Two contracts end while four players remain
NagZ and jotinha completed their agreements after the final Challengers matches. KRÜ confirmed both exits together. Neither player was listed for the later trial process.
Tkzin remains included even though he is playing for LOUD on loan. His temporary move did not end his connection with KRÜ. BenG, phc and mont1 continue directly inside the organisation.
The four retained players have not been promoted into the main lineup. Their next formal step is an evaluation period after the season. KRÜ will compare them with the senior options available at that time.
This plan gives every retained player a defined opportunity without promising a contract in the starting five. Trial performances will decide whether any move follows. The organisation did not reserve a specific number of places.
SPARK improved during its first season
KRÜ SPARK began the year with a six-player roster. Three members came from the former OXEN group, which had worked through an affiliate relationship with KRÜ. The project then entered Latin America South competition.
The first stage produced a difficult opening period. Results improved during the next months. SPARK reached second place at LATAM Masters and repeated that position in the second regional stage.
Those two runner-up finishes provide the main competitive record for the retained group. They also explain why KRÜ chose further evaluation instead of releasing every player. The academy produced a stronger finish than start.
NagZ and jotinha still leave after contributing to that recovery. Their departures follow contract completion rather than a public disciplinary decision. KRÜ thanked the group while describing a new development route.
The trial pool also includes senior players
The main KRÜ roster contains Dantedeu5, saadhak, mwzera and Less on longer agreements. Those players are expected to remain available when the organisation reaches its offseason review. Heat’s current contract ends this year.

Tkzin, benG, phc and mont1 will enter the same wider evaluation period. That creates competition across several roles. It does not mean that all eight players will form one final roster.
BenG, phc and mont1 can continue working inside KRÜ’s own programme. Their preparation does not require an immediate league fixture. The club can use training blocks before the formal first-team tests.
KRÜ link development with a direct opportunity
The club said its goal remains the growth of Latin and South American talent. The new process gives that statement a practical step. Four development players now know when their senior evaluation will occur.
A trial offers access to the main staff and roster standards. It also leaves selection open. Each role must be judged against the senior lineup and any outside recruit considered during the offseason.
The retained players carry different recent experience. Tkzin is playing on loan at the highest regional level. The other three remain closer to the SPARK training environment after the Challengers season.
KRÜ can assess communication, role coverage and individual form during the same period. Those checks are normal parts of a roster trial. The public announcement did not describe tactical plans or preferred agents.
The SPARK name has no new competition announced
KRÜ did not publish another SPARK schedule with the retention news. The four players were presented as members of a development programme. That wording differs from confirming another academy league entry.
The project may therefore change shape before the next season. Its competitive record remains two recent second-place finishes. Any formal closure or new entry still requires a separate announcement.
For NagZ and jotinha, the decision is already complete because their contracts ended. For the retained four, the calendar now leads toward the senior trials. Those are two distinct outcomes from the same review.
KRÜ finish the SPARK campaign with a smaller group and a clear evaluation point. Tkzin, benG, phc and mont1 stay. Their first-team prospects will be decided after the 2026 season ends.
The retained group covers players who already worked together and one member now on loan. That gives the offseason staff both shared Challengers footage and a separate VCT sample to assess.
