It was possible to make the stories deeper, add more dialogue, make the characters more interesting. Those who don’t need it could simply skip the cutscenes. But, alas, the main thing that captivates Street Fighter 4 is the gameplay.

At first glance, it seems that we have a classic 2D fighting game in front of us, but it’s not that simple. There’s plenty of tactics here, and Street Fighter 4 sometimes resembles a strategy game. Every blow, every move must be verified, and the sequence of attacks must be logical. Attention to detail is key: you must not only control your hero, but also watch your enemy, adapt to his style and always be one step ahead.

• Wrestlers are fans of close combat. Let them get close – and consider yourself already trapped.
