And even after all this, surprises are not excluded. But the main question is why, despite all the realism of the simulation, players consistently beat real records on famous circuits? It seems that something is wrong here.

However, opinions are divided: some consider the game realistic down to the smallest detail, while others call it “a near-sim.” Rally fans are advised to check out DiRT Rally, and those who crave “formula” emotions – F1 2017. At the same time, asphalt races in Project CARS 2 received the highest ratings, but other types of races were not to everyone’s liking. Steam has enough complaints about the behavior of cars in turns, the difficulty of driving without a steering wheel, and sudden changes in the weight of the cars.
