This counterattack will break their chain, causing the announcer to excitedly shout, “C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!” If you don’t act swiftly enough, your counterattack won’t be effective, leading to an orange cross appearing above your head as a warning. On the other hand, a red cross indicates that you have incorrectly assessed the attack and used a breaker that is not appropriate in strength.
