There are a dozen combat challenge maps where you take on waves of enemies, along with a dozen Invisible Predator challenges that require you to sneak around and silently take out foes. Each challenge has three medals to earn, which is standard fare. But Arkham City takes it up a notch with Riddler Campaigns, which link three challenges together and add gameplay twists like low health and time limits. You can even create your own Bat-exams! While these challenges often highlight how my version of Batman could use some speed, they’re invaluable for sharpening my skills and keeping me engaged with leaderboards to chase.
