Rapper Lil Nas X became the president of League of Legends and recorded the anthem for the world championship
Perhaps you don’t remember the flamboyant rapper Lil Nas X, but his career is closely tied to video games. He enhanced his first hit, “Old Town Road,” with clips from Red Dead Redemption 2.
The original video is hidden on his channel, but it garnered hundreds of millions of views. Incidentally, the song became a 16-times platinum hit in the US, spent 19 weeks at the top of the Billboard 100 chart, and received numerous awards. No one has broken those first two records yet. All this popularity worked in favor of the artist. He released several hits that, admittedly, didn’t quite measure up to “Old Town Road.” Now he has also become the president of League of Legends.

A new video is dedicated to this. The musician will record the anthem for the World Championship, which will be released on September 23. Additionally, the company will release a thematic skin for the new champion, K’Sante. The musician himself will perform on November 5 in Los Angeles during the opening ceremony of the Worlds finals.
With Lil Nas X’s arrival, changes have already begun at Riot. For example, the game’s official Twitter account posted a naked Udyr. The president himself has banned playing as a bot and has decided to introduce furry skins into the game. Of course, these are jokes.
