Major changes in the Arena mode (2v2v2v2)
Riot Games presented three main components of the mode: Strategy, Balance and Arena Mechanics.
The company strives to create an exciting combination of tactical depth and strategic decision-making. They highlight the importance of scenarios where players take risks and tactical decisions play a crucial role. The company’s focus is clearly on champions with outstanding results.
On the issue of balance, Riot notes the relative balance of classes on average, but acknowledges the weakness of mages in a systemic sense. Therefore, a buff is being introduced for mages, including Liandry’s Torment.
