# KKS Chat<\/p>\n
Custom chat for Minecraft with player avatars, settings, spam protection, and multi-language UI.<\/p>\n

## Main Features<\/p>\n
### Beautiful Interface<\/p>\n
Chat shows player avatars next to messages. Each line is drawn in its own block with adjustable background transparency. You can move the whole chat to different corners or keep it centered (see **Positioning**).<\/p>\n

### Positioning<\/p>\n
In **Options \u2192 Chat Settings**, cycle **Position** to place the chat on screen. Modes:<\/p>\n
– **Center (bottom)** \u2014 default, above the hotbar area
\n– **Center (top)**
\n– **Left top** \/ **Left bottom**
\n– **Right top** \/ **Right bottom**<\/p>\n
Message blocks align to the chosen side or stay centered.<\/p>\n
### Anti-Spam System<\/p>\n
When enabled, **only fully identical** consecutive messages are merged and shown with a repeat counter (e.g. `x3`). You can turn anti-spam off in settings; history regroups or splits accordingly.<\/p>\n

### Whisper<\/p>\n
Private messages are shown with dedicated formatting (sender \/ receiver).<\/p>\n

### Animations<\/p>\n
Messages animate in and out of the screen. Choose a separate style for appearance and disappearance in the config:<\/p>\n
– **Fade** \u2014 smooth opacity transition (default)
\n– **Slide** \u2014 slides in\/out from left, right, top, or bottom
\n– **Bounce** \u2014 elastic spring effect on entry
\n– **None** \u2014 instant appear and disappear<\/p>\n

## Settings<\/p>\n
Settings are in **Minecraft \u2192 Options \u2192 Chat Settings** (KKS Chat section). Values are **saved** to `config\/kks-chat.json` and restored after restart.<\/p>\n
### KKS Chat On \/ Off<\/p>\n
Toggle between KKS Chat and the vanilla chat interface without restarting the game.<\/p>\n
### Background Transparency<\/p>\n
0%\u2013100% opacity for message backgrounds.<\/p>\n
### Display Time<\/p>\n
How long overlay messages stay visible: **1\u201360** seconds.<\/p>\n
### Maximum Messages (history)<\/p>\n
Stored history size: **50\u2013500** messages (older lines are dropped).<\/p>\n
### Other Options<\/p>\n

## Supported Languages<\/p>\n
The mod ships with **12** language files (`assets\/kks-chat\/lang\/`). UI strings follow the game language when a matching file exists; otherwise **English** is used as fallback.<\/p>\n

## Message History<\/p>\n
Press **`T`** to open chat: full history with scrolling. Grouped repeats can be expanded to show each line.<\/p>\n

## Configuration<\/p>\n
The config file is created automatically at `config\/kks-chat.json` on first launch.
\nAll settings are documented with comments inside the file \u2014 open it in any text editor.<\/p>\n
### Icons<\/p>\n
Each message type (system, error, whisper, join\/leave, etc.) has its own icon.

## Rules<\/p>\n
Rules let you automatically transform messages based on conditions \u2014 change icons, colors, text, display time, or hide messages entirely. Rules are defined in `kks-chat.json` under `”rules”`.<\/p>\n
