\n# Keep Inventory Orbs
\nA fully _server-side_ approach to the gravestone concept introducing **’orbs’** to _store_ your inventory upon death.<\/p>\n
## Upon death:
\n– An **Orb** will spawn that will _keep_ your _inventory_ safe. [Incompatible with Backpack mods]
\n– A **compass** to help you _locate_ your last orb will be given to you. [Customizable]<\/p>\n
## Recovering Inventory:
\n– When an Orb is **broken**, it will _attempt_ to restore its inventory **only** to its owner.<\/p>\n
If the _Orb’s owner_ is **not nearby** (within 6 blocks), nothing will happen and the orb **will not break**.<\/p>\n
Orb Stealing is **[OFF]** by default. To **_steal_** an Orb that is **not yours**, an Admin needs to _enable_ it in the **Menu** [see below] <\/p>\n
– Orbs will **re-equip** your armor and items _exactly_ into the slot they were. <\/p>\n
If the _slot_ is **occupied** by something else, the _item_ will **drop** in the player’s position.<\/p>\n
## Orb behavior:
\n– Orbs will always **spawn** on the _player’s death position_
\n– Orbs will spawn in the _world’s minimum height_ if the player dies in the **void**
\n– Orbs will **never** _despawn_.
\n– Orbs have **gravity** and will _fall_ if they have no support.
\n– Orbs will _move upwards_ if they are **inside** of a block.
\n– Orbs **cannot** be _moved_ by pistons<\/p>\n
## Server-side advantages
\nIf you are a **server owner** or **admin**, installing this datapack\/mod into the _server_ makes it _**work for everyone!**_ <\/p>\n
There is **no need** to install it on the _client side!_<\/p>\n
## Menu (for Server Admins)
\nThe following command opens the built-in Chat Menu:

### Orb Stealing
\nOrb Stealing will enable all players to **_steal_** an Orb even if it is **not theirs**
\n**_Buttons:_**
\n– Toggle **[ON\/OFF]** orb stealing for all players<\/p>\n
### Give Orb Recovery Compass
\nToggles whether players will receive an orb recovery compass pointing towards their last orb after respawning
\n**_Buttons:_**
\n– Toggle **[ON\/OFF]** orb recovery compass for all players<\/p>\n
### Player Actions
\nThese actions will apply to your own player only and orbs in loaded chunks<\/p>\n
**_Buttons:_**
\n– **Collect My Nearest Orb**
\n – Collects your nearest orb
\n– **Collect All My Orbs**
\n – Collects all your orbs <\/p>\n
### Stats Management
\nOrbs keep ‘Stats’ with information about the player’s death. These stats are kept even after the orbs are collected.<\/p>\n
**_Buttons:_**
\n– **Get Nearest Stats**
\n – Shows the Stats from the nearest Stats\/Orb
\n – Gives you options to:
\n – Show the inventory saved by the Stats\/Orbs
\n – Collect\/Destroy\/Respawn specific Orbs
\n – Erase specific Stats
\n– **Enable\/Disible Visible Stats**
\n – When enabled, shows particles locating Stats\/Orb within 16 blocks, and points towards the nearest selected one
\n– **Delete All Stats**
