# Inventorio – An inventory enhancement mod for Minecraft<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>## About<br \/>\nThis is my vision of the Inventory Update for Minecraft. Of [features](#features) I believe are in line with Mojang’s vision and could be potentially added to the game.<\/p>\n<p>Available for both Fabric and NeoForge.<\/p>\n<p>## “I press E but nothing happens”<\/p>\n<p>This mod needs to be installed both on the server and on the client. Installing it just on one side will cause bugs.<\/p>\n<p>## Dependencies<\/p>\n<p>### Fabric<\/p>\n<p>– Fabric API<br \/>\n– Fabric Language Kotlin<br \/>\n– Cloth Config<\/p>\n<p>### NeoForge<\/p>\n<p>– Kotlin for Forge<br \/>\n– Cloth Config<\/p>\n<p>## Features<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>### Global<\/p>\n<p>#### Toolbelt<\/p>\n<p>Instead of taking space in the Hotbar, tools are now stored in their own place.<br \/>\nWhen you mine a block, a correct tool gets passively applied from the said<br \/>\nToolbelt.<\/p>\n<p>– Mending will mend tools in the Toolbelt before going into player’s XP bar<br \/>\n– Axe will be used as a melee weapon in the sword slot is empty<br \/>\n– Hoe Toolbelt slot accepts shears. Sword Toolbelt slot accepts Trident.<br \/>\n– Toolbelt slots accept modded tools as long as they inherit from vanilla tool<br \/>\n classes.<\/p>\n<p>#### Utility Belt<\/p>\n<p>An Offhand replacement with a dedicated hotbar of 4 slots that can be scrolled<br \/>\nthrough independently, and which skips the empty slots. You can use the selected<br \/>\nUtility independently, which allows you to akimbo two types of blocks or two<br \/>\ntypes of usable items.<\/p>\n<p>#### Deep Pockets Enchantment<\/p>\n<p>Each level of this enchantment adds an additional row to your inventory, up to 3<br \/>\nat max level. In addition, the first level adds 4 extra slots to the Utility<br \/>\nBelt (from 4 to 8)<\/p>\n<p>The Enchanted Book can be crafted from 2 shulker shells and a book, as well as<br \/>\ntraded from villagers or found in treasure chests.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>#### Increased Ender Chest Capacity<\/p>\n<p>The capacity of the Ender Chest has been doubled. This can be disabled in the<br \/>\nserver-wide config, but you need to distribute the said config to all players if<br \/>\nyou edit it.<\/p>\n<p>#### Infinity Bow Requires No Arrow<\/p>\n<p>This mod fixes a Vanilla bug when you need an arrow to use the Infinity Bow.<\/p>\n<p>#### Totems of Undying activate from the Utility Belt<\/p>\n<p>Instead of being permanently stuck in the offhand, it will go off from any of 4<br \/>\n(8 with Deep Pockets) Utility Belt slots.<\/p>\n<p>### Player Settings<\/p>\n<p>#### Segmented Hotbar<\/p>\n<p>Accessing slots after 5 with a keyboard might be cumbersome because the keys are<br \/>\njust too far away. This feature makes the first keystroke select a section, and<br \/>\nthe second keystroke will select an item inside that section.<\/p>\n<p>There’s a “Visual Only” option that keeps the default selection schema.<\/p>\n<p>#### Firework Rocket Boost Button<\/p>\n<p>A dedicated button to fire a boost rocket directly from your inventory while<br \/>\nflying. Can be co-bound to Jump.<\/p>\n<p>#### Trident Loyalty Check<\/p>\n<p>This option prevents you from throwing a Trident without Loyalty.<\/p>\n<p>#### “Use Item” Applies To Offhand<\/p>\n<p>The original idea was to bind each hand to its own dedicated button, but some<br \/>\npeople found it confusing, and this option restores the vanilla behavior of<br \/>\nvanilla “Use Item”, while “Use Utility” applies only to the Utility Belt \/<br \/>\nOffhand.<\/p>\n<p>#### Skip Empty Utility Slots<\/p>\n<p>By default, scrolling and displaying the Utility Belt skips the empty slots, but<br \/>\nyou can set this behavior to false.
