# Inventive Inventory

\n### Sorting \ud83d\udd00\ud83d\udd20
\nThere’s a mess in your inventory? No problem, a simple key press (Default: R)\u2699\ufe0f will it get organized.<\/p>\n
The sorting function is aware of the cursor\u2019s position.
\nThis means that if you\u2019re in a container and hover over your inventory, the inventory will be sorted instead of the container.
\nIn all other scenarios, the container will be sorted.<\/p>\n
By pressing the Advanced Operation Key you can keep your cursor stack while sorting. \u2699\ufe0f
\n> This feature is compatible with all types of containers.<\/p>\n
### Locked Slots \ud83d\udd12\ud83d\udeab
\nYou can lock slots in your inventory by holding the Advanced Operation Key (Default: Alt) and clicking on the slot.
\nItems in such a slot will not be affected by sorting, automatic refilling or profile loading. \u2699\ufe0f (for every feature seperatley)<\/p>\n
Additionally, picked-up items or quick-moved won’t be placed in such a slot either and will rather get dropped. \u2699\ufe0f<\/p>\n
### Profiles \ud83d\udccb\ud83d\udcc2 By pressing and holding ‘V’\u2699\ufe0f you can open the Profile Screen where you can create, load, overwrite or delete profiles. – Save: “`\/inventive_inventory profiles create You can bind customizable keys to your profiles for loading. \n– Create: Just hover over ‘+’ and release ‘V’\u2699\ufe0f. A Profile should be created. (Optionally, you can press ALT additionally to name your profile)
\n– Overwrite: Hover over an existing profile, hold Left CTRL and release ‘V’\u2699\ufe0f to overwrite this profile.

\nReplenishes your current stack with items from your inventory.
\nUseful for building with many materials or just to always have some food ready.
\nWorks with buckets, bowls and bottles as well as tools.

\nKeep track of your resources at a glance!
\nThe Item Counter sums up all identical items in your inventory and displays the total amount (unit is items or stacks depending on config \u2699\ufe0f) directly in the hotbar.
\nPerfect for builders and miners who want to know exactly how much they have left without constantly opening their inventory.<\/p>\n
