This mod changes Minecraft so that exploring dark places is severely limited without having proper light source. Naturally dark places like caves will be instantly affected and at night time – only the nights close to full moon are lit well enough to not affect the player.<\/p>\n

In the gloom the player’s abilities are limited and will eventually stack up to a very unpleasant experience where the player is either forced to light up the area or face the consequences of staying in the dark for too long.<\/p>\n

The mod combines best with True Darkness Refabricated and especially its BTW Styled Darkness configuration.<\/p>\n
