# Improved Tridents (datapack)<\/p>\n
This datapack adds sensible improvements and quality-of-life to the Trident to make it a viable melee and ranged weapon adjacent to the Sword.<\/p>\n
__Requires__: Minecraft 1.21.x +<\/p>\n
__The changes are intended to be as fairly balanced as possible.__ For balance issues and bugs, please open an issue here on Github.<\/p>\n

## __Install__<\/p>\n
Simply download the archive from Releases, create a new folder named `improved-tridents` within the `datapacks` folder, and extract the downloaded archive into that `improved-tridents` folder.<\/p>\n
If downloading from Modrinth:<\/p>\n
– use the Modrinth app to install it

__Important note__: If you have an old version and are __NOT__ using the Modrinth App, be sure to delete the entire folder (`improved-tridents` folder) from `datapacks` before installing!<\/p>\n

### 2. __Smeltable Tridents__<\/p>\n
A single trident smelts into 1 Breeze Rod<\/p>\n

### 3. __Loyalty Beyond the Void__<\/p>\n
Tridents enchanted with Loyalty always return from the Void (pretty nice for the End)<\/p>\n
