# What is the point of this modpack?<\/p>\n
I have been running Better MC 1.19.2 (Fabric) as my Minecraft server instance for almost a year now but I could go with something better…<\/p>\n
The idea of this modpack is to expand on that very idea of making the ultimate version of Minecraft but there are certain mods that could make it better…<\/p>\n
There is this other modpack based off of the New Life series that a fan made and I like the idea of the whole decoration expansion idea and I would love to have more options, also the create mod looks very good!<\/p>\n
TL;DR This Modpack is trying to be Better MC (Fabric) + New Life but on modrinth.<\/p>\n
## Installation<\/p>\n
Follow the installation instructions provided by Modrinth at the top but I recommend ATLauncher because it works the best in my own personal opinion but you do you.<\/p>\n

\nIf you are looking for the server version of the Modpack go to the page for the same version as the client version and scroll down to the “Files“ Section (Note: You will need OpenJDK installed on your Machine in order for the modpack to work, for Windows go here, for MacOS go here and for Linux go to the Installing 64-Bit JDK on Linux Platforms section here)<\/p>\n
\nOn your machine edit the “server.properties“ file to change the settings, when you want to start the server instance go to your machine’s Terminal and run the start script, on Windows run “Powershell“ as administrator and navigate to the server directory, run the “start.ps1“ file and you should be good to go, for MacOS do the same thing with “Terminal“ except you need to run the “start.sh“ file instead, for Linux it is the same as Mac. (Note: The file may not be executable due to permissions but this can be fixed by right clicking the file in your file manager and changing permissions, if your system does not have a GUI look up how to do it in the terminal) <\/p>\n
\nAs for the networking I would recommend using Playit because it is an additional application that you run alongside the server instance to take care of the networking side of things and I think we all like it when things are simpler to install!<\/p>\n<\/details>\nMods and Resource Packs<\/summary>\n
\n– Created slimmed down modpack compared to Better MC 1.19.2 (Fabric) V18.5 with undesired mods taken out and ones taken out for legal reasons (Rip Twilight Forest \ud83d\ude41 and any optimization mod by someaddon)
\n– All desired New Life SMP mods added (No origins mod or addons because there are lots already)
\n– Found someone with programming skills!
\n– Made a working server version!
\n– Found suitable icon for modpack!<\/p>\n
