# Hosh Loader<\/p>\n

Small Paper\/Spigot companion plugin for the HOSH suite. Provides `\/hosh reload` so you can reload HOSH plugins safely, plus a guided `\/hosh setup` wizard for install\/upgrade flows.<\/p>\n

## Requirements<\/p>\n

– **Paper** (or a Paper-compatible fork) for Minecraft **1.19.x\u20131.21.x**
\n– **Java 17+**
\n– **Must be installed** for **HOSH TPA**, **HOSH Duels**, and **HOSH Stats** to stay enabled \u2014 they depend on this loader.<\/p>\n

## Commands<\/p>\n

Hosh Loader **cannot** reload itself; use a full server restart for that.<\/p>\n

## Setup wizard behavior<\/p>\n

– On first join for each op, loader shows setup prompt.
\n– Options: install\/upgrade flow, skip (only this op), or “just support other HOSH plugins” (disable join popups globally).
\n– `\/hosh setup` can always be used to open setup manually.<\/p>\n

## Automatic updates<\/p>\n

– Loader checks for updates on startup for installed HOSH plugins.
\n– Version selection is server-version-aware (`1.19.x -> tag 1.19`, `1.20.x -> tag 1.20`, `1.21.x -> tag 1.21`).
\n– Tag-first strategy with fallback to `latest` only if needed.
\n– Prepared updates are placed in `plugins\/update` and applied on next restart.<\/p>\n
