In vanilla Minecraft, the “Free the End” advancement is usually only granted to the player who deals the final blow or is closest to the Ender Dragon. On multiplayer servers (SMPs), this often feels unfair to the rest of the team who helped with crystals and damage.<\/p>\n

\nThe datapack monitors the Ender Dragon’s death event. Once the dragon is defeated, it instantly runs a check for all players within the minecraft:the_end dimension and grants the advancement to anyone who hasn’t achieved it yet.<\/p>\n
