\nEpithet is a **client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1+**. It changes how item textures from resource packs match renamed items.<\/p>\n

Normally, if a resource pack gives a custom texture to an item named **”Battle Hammer”**, that texture only appears when the name is exactly **”Battle Hammer”**. Rename it to **”Battle Hammer 3000″** and the texture disappears.<\/p>\n

This mod makes the match work by **containment** instead of exact equality. If the item name contains the keyword, the texture still applies.<\/p>\n

**Example:**
\n– Resource pack rule: texture for **”Battle Hammer”**
\n– Without mod: **”Battle Hammer”** works, **”Battle Hammer 3000″** does not
\n– With mod: both **”Battle Hammer”** and **”Battle Hammer 3000″** get the texture<\/p>\n

Color codes and formatting in item names are ignored during matching.<\/p>\n
